Overall I really like this car seat. I bought this one since it was very well padded, and felt that my daughter would be comfortable in it. It is very easy to install. The only problem with it is that the strap release pull does not release evenly, so when you tighten it the one strap pulls tighter and the one is loose. I also wish that the straps had padding since they kind of dig into my daughters neck from time to time. I am going to see if I can purchase padding for it.

I bought this seat to replace my daughter's rear-facing infant seat because it was one of Consumer Reports higher rated seats (and CR has never failed me). The seat did seem to be comfortable, attractive, and easy to install, but my daughter was almost too big for it - and she is quite small (15m, 21lb, 31"). There was plenty of room in the seat, but there are only three height levels for the shoulder straps and she just barely fit with the straps at the highest level. This seat might work well if your baby is short and round, but there was no way it was going to last more than a month or two for my daughter.

I just purchased this today for my 6 1/2 month old grandson who was getting uncomfortable in his infant car seat. (He's 17 lbs, 27" long.) I put him in this once we got home and he loved all the room he now has, and seemed quite comfy in it. From a couple of the other reviews I was a little skeptical of it being big enough to last him, but it really appears he'll be able to use it for a few years. It's nicely cushioned and the cover comes off to be machine-washed. a great value for the money!

I just got this for my daughter last night and install it today in the morning, its very easy to install, took about 5 minutes, my daughter who is almost 9 mos old fits perfectly and there's still lots of room, hopefully we will use this for the next couple of years. It's prettier in person and she loved the car ride to her grandmas house, she always hated her infant car seat she was always very uncomfortable, but she liked this!

I own a Subary Outback Sport. I tried other convertible car seats, but they wouldn't fit in my car (rear-facing). This one fits behind the passenger seat with no problem. This alone makes this car seat worthwhile. It was very easy to install. My 1 year old also likes it and does great in it (he's still rear facing because he doesn't weigh over 20lbs yet).

Just purchased this car seat today and I am very impressed with it for the money. The material is top notch and the padding is awesome. It is just as padded as the more expensive car seats. Originally, I really wanted a car seat that reclined since my son still needs to be rear facing, but once this was installed it almost had a natural recline to it when it is facing the back of the car. I believe it will be more upright once he turns around, but I am okay with that. The seat is so padded that I think it won't be a problem if his head goes to the side. Also, the head piece attachment is also pretty great. The straps are easy to loosen and it is also a breeze to strap him in. I got our local fire department to install it and it took them about 5 minutes. All in all, very impressed, great deal!!
