I love these canisters. I was looking for a set for my rice, beans and noodles. I wanted glass and all I could find was plastic or ceramic. I also love how they come in a set. At other places I was going to have to buy them separately and spend a lot more.

This was by far the best thing my husband and I registered for. Even my husband - who could care less about kitchen stuff - was impressed by this purchase. We have three sets of them and they are perfect for storing dry food. I can see what's in them an how much and they make my cabinets look far more attractive and organized when I open them. They are heavy and made of sturdy glass. The seals are nice and tight. Very pleased with this purchase.

nice canisters but the sizes are incorrect

The sizes of the canisters are not correct on the website. The ounces may be right, but the inches are not. So, none of the canisters are large enough to fit an entire bag of sugar or flour. They're still very nice.

The dimensions given for these canisters are wrong! Although the volumes given are apparently correct (at least the one I checked was), the dimensions are totally off. The 62 oz. canister, instead of being 22"h x 9"w, is only 9"h x 4"w! The 52 oz. is 7 1/2"h x 4"w; the 40 oz. is 6 1/8"h x 4"; and the 28 oz. is 4 5/8"h x 4". They're attractive, but if the dimensions are important to you, look around some more.

These canisters are great! They look very nice with any kitchen decor. The only thing is that the big one doesn't hold a whole bag of sugar, but I would still buy another set.

these canisters are pretty on the counter and i love finding new and unexpected things to fill them with but the smallest one has never had an airtight seal...ive nearly dropped it by grabbing from the top without thinking. otherwise i would recommend them...very modern and thick glass

These jars are really awesome. They seal very tight and they look very nice when filled with staples like beans and rices. I would recommend these jars to anyone who wants decorative AND functional containers on their counters. I'm going to buy another set!

Why don't the manufacturers of canisters get it? Am I the only one looking for canisters that will hold a full bag of flour and sugar? I've looked everywhere and cannot find a set of canisters that will fullfil this purpose. By my calculations, I need 2 canisters that will hold a minimum of 132 oz. to hold a 5-lb. bag of sugar and a second one for flour. Then I'd like 2 smaller ones for brown sugar and powdered sugar and another 2 for coffee and tea. Is that too hard??? I may have to resort to buying an old set on Another retailer - that will work.

these are nice and sturdy, thick glass too. But i do not think the sizes are correct, and when you are ordering online that is important. they serve their purpose, just not as much of it as I thought :)
