Flimsy fabric? July 6, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Morales Real Name (Sherman Oaks, CA)  See all my reviews >

I maybe should have examined the duvet carefully when I first took it out of the package. I washed and dried it right away, and when I placed it on the comforter, I noticed that the fabric had shredded a bit - about a 4 inch slash. However, I have no idea of whether it was already that way, or if it happened in the wash.

Seems fine... July 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Wallflowerone (In Arkansas)  See all my reviews >

I inspected it, washed it and put it on the duvet. No rips all seem fine with the workmenship, soft but I didn't put it on the bed. It's in the 100's out, so I just put it away until later this fall. Whice is why I gave it 4 stars, since I haven't really used it yet.

Tumble-dry at your own risk. May 7, 2009 Reviewer:  majikthise "..." (Earth)  See all my reviews >

I've put this thing through the dryer with other clothes twice, and both times it came out so knotted with an internal ball of clothes that it took more than half an hour each time to untangle, with much swinging around and profanity.

Relatedly, the opening through which you slip your comforter is very narrow, about half the width of the duvet itself, and there are no holes along the front corners, through which you might pull your comforter's corners towards the edges of the duvet.

In sum, this was a complete waste of money for me. I'll be returning it in a store, if that's possible.
