I love the way this bookshelf looks. It matches my decor perfectly. However, it was a NIGHTMARE to assemble! The pre-drilled holes for the screws were not drilled in the right places and putting holes in the correct place cracked the wood. I would suggest asking about Target's exchange policy once you've begun assembling this item in case it does break while putting together.

I was really looking forward to getting this bookcase put together. However once I opened the box I found it wouldnt be possible. The pegs were all facing the wrong way and there were large pieces of wood missing from around were they drilled. Not the quality I expected.

I will keep this item because it matches the rest of my espresso furniture, but it is not very high quality. There were a number of dings and scratches in the very soft wood laminate and it is not very sturdy.
