ADDICTED! November 22, 2005 Reviewer:  Book Worm (Buffalo, NY)  See all my reviews >

I received my magic bullet last X-mas and have been hooked on it ever since. I use it almost every morning for fruit smoothies. The simplicity and ease of cleaning makes it perfect for rushing out the door in the morning. I have never eaten so healthy in my life due to the ease of it! Although I do have to say I have not had luck chopping with it - it tends to pretty much mush everything.

OK EVERYONE NEEDS TO STOP CRYING July 15, 2009 Reviewer:  Expungebob (Denver, CO)  See all my reviews >

Ok seriously if you're having trouble with this blender it's probably because you have failed to treat it for what it is....a low cost mini blender. Ok so the TV ad is deceiving and you can't blend ice cubes or cheese, but so what? If your goal is to make smoothies effortlessly with no cleanup, and I've used mine to do this every day for 4 years, then the bullet is for you. Two key things to note when making smoothies.

1) All frozen fruit and harder objects must go in the cup first, so they get blended last and don't make the blade stick when the blender is starting.

2) Make sure this thing has tons of liquid in it because the bullet won't work without at least a third of the cup being liquid. I usually just fill the cup almost all the way with fruit and then fill it to the top with juice which will also fill in the spaces between the fruit.

You'll have a lot more success if you just fit the blade (with the fully loaded cup attached) into the machine and use the plug to modulate the "pulsing" of the blender (by plugging it in and out). Pulse pulse pulse and soon you're in smoothie heaven, a quick rinse of the blade and flip it upside down to dry and after your done with your smoothie just stick the cup in the dishwasher....IT DOESN'T GET EASIER THAN THIS FOR SMOOTHIES. If you're trying to get into a good daily fruit consuming habit, convenience is king.

One last thing: don't use big piece of hard frozen fruit like mangos or frozen bananas unless you first soften them under some warm water in the sink. Basically, if you give the bullet a little leeway you'll never go smoothie-less again.

Great for baby food! April 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Henry's Mom (Milwaukee, WI)  See all my reviews >

I would stick to a traditional blender for Margaritas, but to make baby food-this rocks! Makes perfect amounts to fill ice cube trays with homemade baby food. Blends nice, but not for ice-will over heat!

Great for Purees September 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Lucas's Mom (Tampa, FL)  See all my reviews >

I use the Bullet mostly for pureeing my son's baby food. It works great for that. I also use it occasionally for sauces, like pesto. I love it for small amounts. If I make something larger, I just use a different appliance. I gave it 4 stars because I sometimes have to shake it to get it to mix everything evenly. Other than that, I am so glad we have it.

Great for fruit smoothies August 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Christina Colby Real Name (MD)  See all my reviews >

I have had mine for years, and bought off TV and got 2 for the price of one, I must say I really only use the little blender and it sits out. I drink a protein shake every day with frozen fruit and sometimes put one cube in. Never a problem. Only problem I every had was overfilling my cup and had leakage, but that was my fault. Also, once the white band snapped, but there are extras in the box. My first bullet stopped working once, but I called shortly after receiving and they just sent me out another. I hate using my BIG blender for just one small drink. [...]. Still a smart buy, I agree with a few other about chopping ice and a block of cheese - cant believe everything you see on an infomercial...they want you to buy it. Also - I never leave mine on anything but pulse - if you turn your cup to the side, you will lock it - burns out the motor faster.

False Advertising April 7, 2008 Reviewer:  Disappointed Wife (Michigan)  See all my reviews >

"As seen on TV"... not quite. On TV, it shows the Magic Bullet making smoothies and other frozen drinks in a matter of seconds, reducing whole ice cubes to perfect slushie consistentcy. This is not the case at all. If you try to make a smoothie with whole ice cubes, you still end up with basically a whole ice cube in your smoothie. It shaves the ice cube, instead of crush/blending it, leaving you with at least half the cube left. If you try to keep it going to see if it will actually crush the cube, the magic bullet starts to overheat and gives off an awful smell.
We received this as a wedding gift, and I'm happy I didn't waste my money on it. Don't waste yours.

Nice Concept but Poor Quality March 27, 2006 Reviewer:  Emil Yemat Thews "EYT Gamester" (Nyack, NY USA)  See all my reviews >

I used this machine several times a week and find that it works great. However, a part of the base which moves the blades is made of plastic; it should be made of metal. This is the area of my machine which shattered in a million pieces and made the Magic Bullet utterly useless.

Changed my life March 8, 2006 Reviewer:  Mr. Smoothie (Savannah, GA, USA)  See all my reviews >

This product has changed my life! I have never eaten healthier. I used to eat breakfast and by 9 am I was looking for a sausage biscuit or a doughnut and still starving by lunch. I now have a smoothie with fresh fruit, non-fat yogurt and a scoop of protein powder - no hunger pangs! Great for quesadillas, pasta sauce and other great things. Cleans easily! I bought 1 for my kids, my mother and my sister and they all love it. I did a demo last week for one of my friends - he bought one! Don't wait!

Magic Bullet Leaks or The Magic Mess Maker August 2, 2008 Reviewer:  Stanford Griffith Real Name See all my reviews >

I have tried my Magic Bullet Express many times. Every time it has leaked to the point that whatever is in there winds up in the machine and on the counter and floor.

I know I am attaching the lid correctly and tightly. I have checked that every time after the first flood (orange juice and organic raspberries). I've even tried it with just water, shaking the heck out of the cup with the blades screwed on. It didn't leak a drop until I attached it to the base. Then, the flood.

Off to go clean up the last stick messy from the Magic Mess Maker!

so far i love it August 31, 2007 Reviewer:  targetlover21 (Philadelphia, PA)  See all my reviews >

portable...small..so i didnt have to lug out my big blender.....love the recipe book went out and bought tons of frozen fruit to try and make smoothies..made a milkshake for family tonight in (OF COURSE) Less than 10 seconds (not joking) ..lid screws on fine (checked it before i blended) and the direction booklet clearly explains that it may get stuck in pulse mode (its suppose to) but clearly explains (with pictures) how to prevent this from happening and i had no problem pulsing... only gave it four stars b/c even though in the booklet it explains WHY the motor might smell (cause it goes at such a high rate so quickly) it still bothers me a bit ......other than that i really love it !!!
