Great for kids and parents! July 8, 2009 Reviewer:  Dedicated Dad (Sunnyvale, CA)  See all my reviews >

I have a powerful laptop that my company issued, but I wanted something inexpensive and highly portable for travel. It works well for email, internet, and other simple tasks. But I was elated to find out how well it works for iTunes movies and TV shows. When we travel as a family, my 5-year old son is the biggest user. It kept him occupied on a very long flight recently. My family and I get far more use out of this device than I anticipated.

Easy to use; easy to set up; vivid screen display; great for travel, e-mail, etc. Should have purchased one sooner.

So far, so good. =] August 11, 2009 Reviewer:  sammie390 "Samantha S" (California)  See all my reviews >

I got this computer yesterday, after my other laptop crashed. I purchased it and I would gladly do it again. =] I really like the size ot the computer, but despite the size, the keyboard is quite comfortable, and the little computer seems fairly durable. As long as you don't have more than 2 windows open at a time, it is very fast. =] I really like the scrolling and zooming features right on the touchpad. To zoom, you simply put two fingers on the touchpad and spread them apart, which is an excellent feature for the small screen size. =] We'll see if I come across any problems in the future, and i will definately write another review. =]

Wonderful Little Machine July 30, 2009 Reviewer:  MN MOM "Roz" (Elk River, MN)  See all my reviews >

I enjoy being able to check email and surf the web without having to be tied to my desktop pc. I had been using my husband's laptop that he needs daily for his work, so every evening I was having to pack it up. What a pain! My husband is even using my Netbook now. This was one of the best buys I have ever made. I pretty much keep it plugged into the wall outlet so battery life is not much of an issue. When Netbook is not plugged into the wall outlet, the battery life has been sufficient for my needs.

This is a great Traveler's Computer August 5, 2009 Reviewer:  T. P. Obrien "Tom" Real Name (San Antonio, Texas)  See all my reviews >

We travel outside the US at least once a year, and more often within the US. This little PC is ideal because it is full-featured, compact, and lightweight. We added an external LG optical drive (under $) and a tiny memory card reader ($), with a Targus netbook bag to hold it all. We use it for e-mail as well as photo management and uploading. We have installed Open Office.org, Skype, and AVG Free. We don't plan to use MS Office, MS Works, or McAfee. Because of the small display, we have set the desktop for larger icons and Internet Explorer for larget text. In addition to the optical drive, we carry a kit of a half-dozen thumb drives of various sizes. We opted for Target's inexpensive 3-year warranty.

A little dash July 29, 2009 Reviewer:  Keeping Up Mom (CO)  See all my reviews >

The notebook is very useful for what I need.
It's speed is quick for my impatience, lightweight, and easy to use. The keyboard is smaller than others, but is fine for my average size fingers; and it's a little quick to the touch. The 3hr battery is sufficient time, and the computer doesn't heat up (great!). I haven't used it in public yet but the performance at home is just what I was looking for.

Love this Netbook! September 23, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy MN Mom See all my reviews >

Our household has 3 teenage girls and with homework and Facebook, we were in the need for an inexpensive laptop that we could casually pick up in our family room. This Acer is exactly what we needed! It's small and the price point is exactly what we wanted to spend. We use it primarily for the Internet and I am pleasantly surprised that the screen is not that small and very high quality resolution. LOVE this little Netbook!

Quick replacement for vacation August 5, 2009 Reviewer:  HawaiiTransplant "Sarah A" (Ewa Beach, HI, USA)  See all my reviews >

I bought this cute little netbook after my HP laptop blew up. I was going on leave so I needed something to get me through that peroid and while my HP was being repaired. Though the keyboard is smaller than what I am used to, it has served my needs. Lightweight, long AC adaptor to go with, very easy to set up and use. I would recommend this cutie to anyone!!

I like the small computers but, I'm not in love with them. I prefer a bigger screen! These computers our good though because, they take up less space, and they help with homework!
