I got this camera for my birthday and I thought it was really cool good picture nice size rechargable so it doesnt eat up batteries for that it gets 5 stars then I took a star away because I uploaded all my videos to my computer then I could get them onto Windows Movie makers so I had to go download some program. I took away another start because after about a week with this camera the screen turned green and I have no clue why so I took it back to target and they replaced it for me. Then the final star gets taken off because I had to get 2 of these cameras and still wasnt pleased with it so I took it back (again) and got a better camera one.

the reason this is so cheap, is because it's so cheap. All in all i like the video quality, and if you're buying it strictly for videos, then you're fine. but if you were like me and was looking for a cheap way to combine you digital camera with your video camera, you're going to be sorely disappointed. the still quality sucks. i have a 2 year old, and i bought it to capture her and her new bro/sis on the way. no way could i get either of them to stay still long enough to take a decent picture. the problem is it always turns out blurry. with my digi it has stabelization, so even if they move slightly you still get a good picture, but here you get blur everywhere they slightly move. my cell phone takes better pictures.

We love the camera... I read some reviews stating it has poor audio, and even poor video. With this you get an easy to use and good quality camera... for [a good price].

We use it to capture those 'spur of the moment' situations when our 1 yr old son does something such as turn on the stereo and start dancing, etc. With a MiniDV camera you then have to get the right software to download it to your PC... A HDD camera would be much better, but you won't find it for this price.

The video on this camera is excellent! It also takes good pictures. I am impressed with it's ease of use but I don't know what they were thinking when it came to the sound quality. It distorts very easily and don't even try to use it in a car. It's mud. Also it records in .mov format which makes it almost impossible to edit on the computer.

This camara is great for looking at stuff, but it has a very bright flash and its microphone is very sensitive but has a bad pick-up

We love this camera, it's a great deal for the price! We returned another cheaper camera because the picture was dark and blurry. This one has a crystal clear picture, it's amazing for under $150! We bought a 2Gb memory card to go w/ it (which holds a lot of videos), but it has the capacity to hold up to a 32 Gb card! The only thing bad I can say about the camera is that it saves the videos in a weird file format, I think it's made more for a MAC than a PC. But it was no big deal, we just had to download a program to convert the files. You won't be disappointed w/ this camcorder!

I just checked it out at target. To sum it up it's [an expensive] toy. It just doesn't deliver on a HD level. The HD recording is a blurred mess. On the DV1 setting the video is near the quality of my miniDV camcorder, but it lacks many features. The fixed lens does not focus on close-up objects. Objects two or more feet away appear fine, but at those distances the audio turns tinny. I would not consider this an equal to a miniDV, nor would I really use it to record home videos. [...] It gets 2 stars because it just doesn't deliver on what it promises.

This camera is a nice camera, but it clearly states in the description that it has a 3x optical zoom. Well, it does not. They have a less expensive model, (the shiney black one)for $30.00 less that has the same exact specs. as this one. Not happy with Targets description of their product.

This is the best camera ever and I'm so happy that I found it!!! It's best feature is that it can record from DVD players, your DVR, etc. That means you can record your favorite shows directly on to it and watch them anywhere you go. The pictures are brilliant and the video is wonderful. The only bad quality is that it's not much of a shot stabilizer so you need a steady hand. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
