This thing is great! I bought it at a store for $40, and it is SOOO worth the money! If i could rate it higher than 5 * i would. The only problem is the charger. I got fustrated trying to put it on on my 4'th charge. I forced it on, got bent, switch came out, and never flew again. It is totally better than 5 stars. Just don't treat it like a steel frame that takes a semi to crush, or force the plane on the charger, and you'll be fine.

I bought this product and hated it the second I got it out of the box. i charged it to fully charged and I rubbed it and the the back the whole back fell apart. It is a circe plane. It spun insanely to the ground. The plane also could barely keep altitude the highest altitude it reached was 3 feet off the ground and then quickly fell to the ground. It [..]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't by it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought this for my son for Christmas 2008. It will not fly in a straight line, just to the right. If you want a plane that only flies circles, this is it.

I have owned the Havoc Helli and it was great. This on the other hand should have never made it into production. It barely has enough power to stay in the air "on 100% charge" It flies with the nose at a 45deg angle like its stalling for about 15 seconds then begins loosing altitude. I flew it in the warehouse at my shop and it wouldn't get past 15ft before loosing power. Its also VERY delicate. The wings are less than 1/8" thick styrofoam and break very easily. I returned it to the store for a refund and the lady at the return desk just said....another one of these? They must get a lot of them back.

These little planes are lots of fun to fly.
There is a bit of a learning curve for new pilots who have a tendency to over correct. Control is much easier if you bump the rudder control to turn then bump it the other direction to straighten out. The vertical fin has a trim tab bent to make the plane turn with no inputs on the controls. I usually just bend it straight or cut it off.
In addition to indoor flight, I've flown mine outside late in the day when the Sun is low enough on the horizon that it won't interfere with the infrared remote. There also must be no wind. Since there aren't any walls and ceiling for the signal to bounce off of you must keep the IR emitter on the top of the controller pointed directly at the airplane.
To make the planes light they are made of very thin Styrofoam. I've never damaged one in a crash, as they don't weigh enough to hurt themselves. Like any delicate flying model it’s best to keep them in the box when not in use.
Also keep in mind that with all of these little planes and helicopters that use a Lithium Polymer battery you should not charge them before putting them away. If you leave it charged for more than a couple of weeks the battery might swell and no longer hold a charge.

this plane was fun at first and then it stopped working. It started turning in the wrong direction and the rudder and propeller both stopped working. It is very hard to control.
