This toy cost [a lot] and will break after only a couple careful uses. The 2 propellers need to start at the same time in order to fly correctly and launch off the ground. After a few uses one propeller starts before the other and spins it out of whack on the ground. Then I had a second one(exact model) have the charging plug on the helicopter break. I understand the need for a lightweight flyer but this is too cheap! Make them stronger Air Hogs! [...]

It's not easy

These Toys are very difficult, I would not recommend them for anyone under 12. You must take learning to fly these very carefully. Helicopters are unstable vehicles to begin with. As other's writing reviews have found out. Take your time, and build your height slowly. You must get the aircraft "trimmed" before you can even hope to fly it. Once you get the hang of it, this is a very fun, and rewarding toy, as I said before it is not easy. I have crashed this one a number of times, and it hasn't broke yet. Make sure you leave on the clear plastic fins, if not it becomes 10x harder to fly. GOOD LUCK!

More "hog" than "air"

My wife bought me this as a fun novelty heli, as I have another Heli that I love to fly. 10 minutes of light use rendered this toy useless. I can put up with the 1 to 2 second "lag" response time from the controller to the toy. But now, no amount of trimming will keep this heli from endlessly spinning to the left, crashing, and flopping about long after you've killed the throttle. It resembles more a "Stuck Pig" than an "Air Hog".

This is a very good toy. It is very hard t trim, but once you get the trim right it flies like a dream.Crashed it many times, still works perfectly. DO NOT REMOVE THE PLASTIC FINS MY FRIEND HAS ONE AND HE CUT THEM OFF AND IT SPUN OUT OF CONTROL.
