Very quiet

This unit is VERY quiet and puts out a fine mist. The controls are easy to use. Once it runs out of water it automatically turns itself off so you won't burn out the motor. It also has a setting to turn itself off when the desired himidity has been reached, so no waste of water. Draw backs are since it has a 4 gallon tank it gets heavy after filling and it automatically flashes for a cleaning every 2 weeks whether it needs it or not. Overall I am very pleased

To respond to COMET: The filter needs to be soaked for 24 hours before you use it. If you don’t soak it the filter material will run out with the water. This is why COMET is getting that dust problem.
But this is the quietest humidifiers I’ve ever experienced, almost amazingly so. It does want to be cleaned all the time, but the filters and silver-coil last a long time which is nice because theey're a little costly. Only recommendation would be to put a dimmer on the lights.

It is nice and quiet, with a fine mist that blows out water and white dust particles all over everything! It literally leaves a layer of "white dust" on my surrounding furniture, very odd..To the point that I no longer use this very expensive yet average humidifer. Have had other humidifers and have never experienced this problem.
