This pan bakes fine, but really large. Too big for under the oven storage. Other than that okay.

Crisp evenly-baked crusts, not soggy.

The perforations in the pan ensure that pizza crusts will be crisp and evenly baked, not soggy. I assume the Airbake construction, with the thin layer of insulating air between the two layers of metal, also helps to ensure even baking. My favorite pizza pan!
It is sturdy, not flimsy. Compared to a pizza stone, it is lighter, easier to handle, and not breakable.
This pan is the best, whether making pizza from scratch, or with a kit, or even baking a FROZEN store-bought pizza.
The nonstick surface works well. The 15-3/4 inch pan does not fit in my dishwasher, but that is not a problem, because washing is so easy. I wash it off with a Dolbie sponge, occasionally assisted by a wooden toothpick. Bits of melted cheese, from around the edge of the pizza, can fall into the perforations, especially if the pizza is much smaller than the pan. I use a toothpick to quickly get any remaining cheese gunk out of the perforations; it merely takes a minute. A very small price for the pleasure of good pizza crusts.
I own both the nonstick and regular uncoated versions of this pan. When using the non-stick version, my rolling pizza cutter scratched the surface a little with my heavy-handed use. It would be best to remove the pizza from the pan before slicing it, but I don't have any scratch-resistant platters that are wide enough for an extra-large pizza.

I didn't really see a difference between this and any other round pizza pan. Plus, the little holes in this pan are impossible to clean! Food gets stuck in them, and no matter how much you scrub, it won't come out.

Definitely worth it!!! Uber-crispy and pan cooks pizza very evenly...however, can be a bit difficult to cut pizza since the pan is much larger than most frozen pizzas. The pizza tends to slide around when being sliced.

I have had 4 of these pans for years and they are workhorses. Whether you bake pizza from scratch or reheat the frozen variety, this is the pan to use. I also bake bread and rolls on these pans. They are easy to clean and the non-stick coating stays put if you make an attempt to care for it. The dark coating also absorbs more heat which helps brown the crust. Yes it's large and it's not a cutting board. Most people learn that metal pans do not make good cutting boards before they go to college. #1 it ruins the pan, and #2 it ruins the cutting utensil. For those that haven't learned, may I suggest flexible cutting boards. They are easy to store, easy to clean and they are cheap. Enjoy.

Rusting has not occurred through numerous washings. The pizza turns out evenly crispy and delicious. It is sturdy and I recommend it highly.

How to bake 16'' inch pizza?

I've always brought 16'' pizza from [...], but I had a regular size pan that always left the center raw because all the ingredients were in the center. A girlfriend of mine told me to use aluminum instead. I thought great, but how wasteful and expensive (I could go through a roll in 1 month at the rate I was using them). So I searched and searched....This had the best rating around. I brought it and it became an instant success w/family. Once I brought my 16'' pizza from one of the warehouse store, I followed the direction and it came out perfect everytime. Whether you want the bottom of pizza crisp, crispy or crispier, you could tell by watching your crust (from tan to brown). And remember this is a nonstick pan (dark gray color) which means it cooks faster than regular aluminum pan (silver).
I so far do not have a hard time cleaning it, but if I was cooking single pizza slices with cheese oozing off on the side I could see one of the rater's fustrating. This pan has tons of 1/4 inch hole all over it, but I think that's the pan best quality. I don't cut my pizza on this (scratch surface), I place pizza back in pizza box and cut it (that's how store does it).
I plan on collecting the whole Airbake collection now for all my baking needs.

I have two of these pans I was given as part of a wedding gift, they are excellent pans and completely non-stick 100% the pizza I have already cooked on ours didn't leave anything behind just so easily slid off the pan and was ready to slice. I recommend these pans for everyone!!!
