    Traditionally, Norwegian lefse takes all day to make, which is why it usually only makes an appearance on holiday tables. The Aluminum Heritage Lefse Grill makes preparing this thin potato bread so easy, it can become an everyday treat. The large grill has an adjustable temp up to 500°, critical for lefse making but great for searing steaks, baking pizza and frying eggs, too. Features an overflow spout and raised rim to prevent spills and splatter, heat-resistant legs and hardwood handles. Made in USA. 16" dia.

Lefse is a holiday favorite with my family. We love it. This griddle has made the preparation of lefse so easy that my husband and I often have lefse during non-holiday times. I know, it's pretty unbelievable. Just preheat, and go. There is no need for the non-stick one, as once lefse cooks and is covered in flour, it doesn't stick. The cord is a little short on the adapter, so you may want to be prepared with an extension cord. Also, the adapter takes up quite of bit of voltage, so you shouldn't be running a microwave or toaster while running the griddle.

I use the Aluminum Heritage Grill to bake very thin bread by hand, It is the right tool for people who like to bake at home. The bread is similar to the French sweet bread. But I top it with egg and cheese.
