I needed two lamps for our bedside tables that were smaller, affordable, and nice looking. These lamps were just right for us. These have a little bit of a goldish hue underneath the ivory paint, but our bedroom is shabby chic and they work very well with the decor. I thought it was a distressed wood color underneath. (And that is the ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars instead of five.) They cast off a relaxing light, and so far we love them.

I ordered 2 of these to go on the 2 south hampton black nightstands I purchased for my bedroom. These are very cute lamps, the prior review as "shabby chic" is an accurate description.

Just received this lamp. Like it very much. It is 16 and 3/4 inches height from base to the top of shade. Two previous reviewers give an accurate description of appearance. Shabby Chic-ish. Shade is a soft white.
This lamp takes maximum of a 40 watt bulb.

I ordered 2 of these lamps for my bedroom. They are perfect for a night stand, they give out just the right amount of light without taking up a lot of room. Very nice looking and you can't beat the price! I definitely recommend them.

I needed a new lamp but did not want to spend too much money on it. This is a great little lamp where you don't need much light. It uses 40 watt bulbs so isn't very bright. It works great for my needs.
