I am never lucky when it comes to ordering on-line. This time I hit the jackpot. The table was absolutely flawless. It came in one week, packaged perfectly and was a breeze to put together. It is very well built and heavy. It looks a lot more expensive than it was. I also got a great price because it was reduced and also paid no shipping. Not a ding, not a chip on it as previously stated by some others. Nothing negative here! Wow

horrible. table arrived very damaged. poor packing and poor quality for the money. I then realized this was the same table I had seen at another store for half the price. I did not mind paying more for what I thought was a better quality table, but I was wrong. Immediately sent it back and will never get ripped off again like this.

I bought this table with the matching crossback chairs, I love the look, but unfotunately not the quality. There were a few small dents and scratches on the table top once I got it home. I also have two children and I don't reccommend it for families--when my son does his homework on the table it leaves indents of his writing in the wood.

I am thinking about purchasing this table but will definitey add a glass top for protection.I will probable add parsons chairs, but need to check out chairs.

We are overjoyed with the table and four chairs that we purchased. The collection looks phenomenal in our breakfast nook! I looked around for a long time before deciding on this one. I saw a similar collection at 2 other stores. One was way to expensive. The other was priced similar, but the quality was horrible. If you are comtemplating this collection..GO FOR IT! I saw the other reviews about scratches and dents, but mine came in perfect condition.

I bought the table on sale about six months ago, and I'm glad I did. I don't know how hard it was to put together as my boyfriend did it for me (heheh), but it is excellent quality and really very beautiful. It looks a lot more expensive than it is, like I got it from a furniture design store. It hasn't nicked or scratched or done anything I haven't wanted it to! I will say though, it is probably better for a couple living alone or a single person living on their own, as the durability for a family and kids might be questionable.
The chairs are alright, a bit pricey but they look nice. I have the X-back chairs and in my opinion they're the most stylish of the three options. The part where your butt sits wears a little indent (I'm rather small, too) but you could probably put cushions on the chairs if this bothers you. I didn't bother just because it's not very noticable.
I'm sorry to hear some other people didn't have as good of luck with this set, but I would certainly buy it again.

I was very excited about the look of this table and chairs. I was very disappointed, however, when I received them and there were two 2-inch long scratches on the top of the table and a couple of dots where the paint is not even. If the lights are dim, it looks great, but who wants to have dim lighting all of the time?!

I got this table when it first debuted this year. This is an excellent price and the table and chairs are made of a hard, durable wood that any buyer would be pleased with. Being, a long term person I am completely satisfied that I made this investment. This table is definitely built to last.

To anyone considering buying this table: DO IT you will not regret it and at this price and quality it is well worth it and hard to come by.

I cant believe how sturdy and heavy the table is - I was also thrilled with the matching crossback chairs which are also sturdy and heavy wood. Everything came in perfect condition and within 10 days. The table is perfect in our breakast area - perfect for 2 + the morning paper!
