Not only do you get all the stuff from the other AC games(including putting all the data from wild world on it) you get more! More items, more animals, more everything! And if you are forced to share the same wii with others you don't have to share a house like in WW. The only thing I don't like in the game is trying to type, the wiimote is not made for typing.

Animal Crossing is such a great game, my husband and I are in our 30's and we are addicted. We go to his niece's town and shop at her stores, bring back "exotic" fruit, send gifts in the "mail". Then she comes to our town too! It's a great way to connect with the kids in your family because it is fun for people of all ages. And although it is a "real time" environment you can still play at your own pace. We can't wait to get WiiSpeak for Christmas so that we can all talk instead of fidgeting with the awkward on-screen keyboard. There are many similarities between this and the original for GameCube, but this version has so much more to do and loads of new features.

I got this game for Christmas. At first I was unsure whether I wanted it or not, since I had weed problems in Animal Crossing: Wild World for my DS. However, I'm certainly glad I got this game.
PROS:
-If you want a change of scenery, you can take a bus to the city, where you have access to a wide variety of shops.
-When creating a design at the Able Sisters Shop, you can now edit each part of the clothing design: sleeves, back, and front.
-Graphics are awesome! :)
CONS:
-Weeds are still there. However, I haven't had quite as large a problem with them as I had with Wild World.
-Instead of answering questions that determine where your house will be, Nook will let you look at four houses in various locations throughout your town. Once you pick one, though, the other houses don't seem to go away.
-Sometimes neighbors get locked out of their houses, saying they've dropped their house key into the water, so you have to fish for it. You don't have to find it for them, but if you want to be a good friend, you might as well.
All in all, Animal Crossing City Folk is an awesome, cute game. I highly recommend it. :D

We just got a Wii for Christmas for our kids, ages 7, 4 and 2. I had read reviews saying that this was a great game for kids. There is a TON of reading involved and moving the characters is awkward. I am really disappointed that we spent so much money on it, but hoping that the kids will grow into it. It is not fun so far and was a waste of money.

When I was thinking of buying this, I figured it would be a really good game. I already had the DS version so i said it must be good, I was right. It is just like the DS version except better. If you can only buy one game get this one. You won't regret it!

This game is great for all kids. Even for teens. My friends and I love playing with eachother on it and having fun. I think the coolest part on it is that you can decorate your houses. It's like being a mini-interior decorator. I think its for people that have creativity and an internet connection to visit eachothers towns.
P.S. I saw one review saying that if you get this game you will have no life. Was that really neccessary? I mean that is totally out of line even if your an adult.
