These chairs are great looking. You wouldn't think they came from target. They have a satin finish. So they aren't to shiny or to dull. Very sturdy feeling, and everyone who has sat in them has found them comfortable. (as far a kitchen chairs are concerned)None of the chairs we had delivered were damaged and were easy to put together. We got 4 total and I put together two simultaneously within 30 min. The cross bars were the only part that I had to find the hole for the screw but the hole was there I just had to move the screw around to line it up. Once i did they were easy. oh, and don't skip the step where it says to sit in the chair before you screw in the cross bars. I did it for all our chairs and we don't have any wobbly ones.
I would say to any who are thinking about ordering these chiars that you won't be dissapointed. We also ordered ours when they were 15% off and had free shipping. Doesn't get much better than that. :) (we are ordering another set, so we'll have six total).

These chairs arrived about 3 days after I ordered them, which was a WONDERFUL bonus because I needed them for a Memorial Day family get-together. (And that was via the standard shipping option, the only one available.) My daughter and I put the chairs together (ordered 6) in about 20 minutes per chair. The directions were super easy to follow, all the tools except a screw driver came with, and the hardware was perfectly labeled. The quality of the chairs is excellent, especially at the price, PLUS the free shipping, PLUS the 15% off. Wouldn't even consider shopping at a local furniture store to find this great value.

I purchased 6 of these chairs and am so very pleased with them, they were far below the price tag at other stores but the quality is as good if not better. Would highly recommend these as they are high quality solid chairs. They were easy to assemble all 6 were put together in a couple of hours. Super sturdy stunning chair.

My husband and I bought 5 sets (10 chairs) of these chairs to go with a table we bought from a high end retailer. These chairs are just as beautiful as the chairs the retailer sold for 1/3 of the cost. I like the fact you can wipe them off with a wet rag and they are sturdy and kid friendly. It took my husband about 3 hours to put them together. We were missing some hardware for one of the chairs but my husband was able to go to the hardware store to get what he needed to finish the chair. We bought the chairs with free shipping and 15% off and they went on sale a week later and Target refunded us the difference in price. These chairs are a great value for the price, and we are very, very pleased with our purchase. I'm debating on getting two more.

These chairs are almost identical to some we had seen at a high end retail store at about 1/2 the price. They are surprisingly heavy, very sturdy and look beautiful-the pictures on line do not do them justice. We ordered 6 and it took us about 2 hours to put all 6 together. 2 of the 6 had a slight wobble to them but it was quickly remedied by a little felt under one of the legs. I should also mention that those 2 were the first 2 we had put together and we missed the step that says, "turn the chair over and sit on it" to stabilize the legs before screwing in the last screws. I guess that little bit of added pressure really helps as the next 4 were perfect. The "antique" look is subtle and you can really only see the distressed markings up close. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

I really like these chairs. Of the 8 I purchased, two however, were defective. We returned them with no problem. The other 6 are super sturdy and very nice looking. They complement my table so well. I have three boys who are extremely hard on things and I am not worried about them holding up. I would definitely recommend these chairs!

I needed 6 new chairs, I have 3 kids that are tough on just about everything. I searched and searched. I didn't want to spend too much only to have them destroyed in a year and I didn't want to spend too little for fear they wouldn't last the week. I got the best of both scenario's. They are not only attractive and look like I spent much more but they are a lot more durable than I expected. I defeinately recommend them.

These chairs look great with my existing table. We bought six chairs and it took my husband about 2 hours to put them together. These are very sturdy and look like something from Another retailer. A couple legs needed an adjustment because they are not even, but there are directions for that too.
