The table overall looks very nice and the size and price was perfect for my kitchen. However, I have two boys and the supports that hold up the drop leaf sides just aren't substantial enough and they would droop a little. I'm returning this one (nice that you get free ship and can return to the store!) and just got the pedestal extension table. It is a much heavy piece with a thicker base and will hopefully hold up better for my boys-I was just hoping to go this cheaper route. The drop leaf could work good for you if you really need the drop feature and don't plan on using the table much-it really is a good looking basic table, just poorly designed supports for the leafs.
