I've been shopping around for a good tv stand for months now...saw this and loved the look (I thought, picture is kind of tough to see)but thought it would be a cheap piece of furniture with the relatively inexpensive price. I'm so happy I was wrong and took the chance. I love this piece of furniture!! And I'm very picky. It looks like real wood, not composite, and it's Sauder. The first thing my husband said was "that box is really heavy". It's definitely sturdy enough, especially for our 46" flat screen, which fits perfectly. Not 5 stars only because it took a while to put together (under 1 1/2 hrs), but the directions were great (and in English!). I would highly recommend if you're considering it! And it looks even better than in the picture. The Antiqued look is just right.

The price is what got my attention because I viewed a lot of the other stands with a similiar look. This is a very
sturdy piece. It took me about 2 hours to put together myself with just a screwdriver. My husband arrived home just as I finished and couldn't believe how nice it looked!
The reason no 5 star is the tracks for doors should be a little thicker, it seems that if you have reason to use the doors alot the tracks could split easily. But overall we like the look and the quality.

TV Stand A Workout but Great Results

Weighing in around 100 lbs, unboxing took up most of our family room for 5 hours of assembly time. I resorted to carefully using the prohibited electric screwdriver and avoided carpal tunnel. Assembly instructions were difficult to follow with their Chinglish wording.
But when all was done we are very happy with the sturdy support for our new plasma TV. We enjoy the look of it with the black exterior and the unexpected brown finish shelves (that really tie in with our surrounding furniture). A little better picture or more descriptive text would have helped to envision its appearance.
We are very happy with the unit and recommend it to any other ambitious person. It's great piece of furniture but not for the faint of heart.

I just recieved this tv stand and put it together with my two sons. Overall I have found the previous reviews accurate. We are happy with the finished product and it is sturdy and looks great. We just had some issues with the assembly.
It's very simple to follow the directions as they are clear. The different parts were not labeled correctly and this led to some stress as to figuring out which part was which.
One piece did not come with the holes prepped for the screws and so I had to get out the drill. It came together fine, but I had to measure and all of that.

My nephew actually put it together, took about 1 &1/2 hrs. I love the finish, it matches the other antique finish items I've purchased. It is sturdy, but I do believe that the weight limit on the instructions might be exaggerated. I'm not sure if it would hold 125lbs.
But I am very happy with the product!
