GREAT IPOD! February 26, 2009 Reviewer:  Gadget Girl "Caelin M" (Cleveland, OH, USA)  See all my reviews >

I am 12, and I just got this iPod for my birthday. I barely use half of the storage, but if you use a lot of space, I would reccomend the 32 GB. The screen is huge, and the picture is very clear. If you use it all day, you will have to charge it.
You should get a car charger, it is VERY handy. The apps you can get for this iPod are amazing. This iPod is basically an iPhone, but without the phone. I dropped it, and it didn't break (without my case). I now have a case though (reccomended). It is VERY hard to clean though, and the screen gets smudges on it easily. It comes with a special little black cloth, and it's magic. It is the only thing that I have tried that actually works. This could work as a regular iPod, but for some, it might be a little hard to figure out (my mom). This is best if you want an iPod with LOTS of different uses.
*It has clocks (world), alarms, notes, a calculator, email, internet (Safari), youtube, photos, videos, iTunes and an App store in it, stopwatch (with the laps option), and a timer.
**To use the internet, youtube, itunes, email, the app store, and some of the apps, you need wi-fi.
***Some of the apps are free, the most expensive ones are like [.......]

Best iPod!! September 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Fortysomething (Miami)  See all my reviews >

This is the best iPod ever! I use it at least 5 times a day. The really good thing is you can use the internet for free when you're in a wi-fi network. Hope this helps!

additional cost [...] February 22, 2009 Reviewer:  Dina A. Guevara "DG" Real Name (Colorado Springs)  See all my reviews >

The Touch is Great. Of course there are added expenses for downloads. There is a App store. Games and music, cost anywhere from 99cents to 1.99. You can pre-view music, and videos. There are some free games. Internet is FREE anywhere there is wi-fi. If you would like you can purchase internet connection, but not necessary. There is a free download to let you know where there is Wi-fi. McDonald's even has it. Easy access from my wireless internet at home. You can download music from your home PC. Hope this helps.

Crammed with features. But still retains the "iPod" basics. January 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Big Rob "rawb" (Florida)  See all my reviews >

Alright, this is one heck of a little device.
First off, the pros (and their are many, many pros)
- The screen. This screen is huge, and bright, and colorful,
and sharp. Movies and photos on it are stunning. The touch capability is fantastic. As Mr.Jobs says: "Gorgeous."

- very slim, sleek, and durable. This screen just refuses to get scratched. (the chrome backing, however... attracts many hairline knicks..)

- The features. The apps you can download are awesome. Many are either very fun, or very useful. This also has a very extensive WiFi capability. Browsing is a breeze. Buying songs and movies wirelessly without being connected to a computer? Awesome.

The CONS!
- When using the browser, or watching a video, the battery life lacks. But that's a given, and it's still very good compared to most. Still lasts longer than my laptop.

listening to music, the battery seems to last forever. you can also adjust screen brightness to conserve battery life, and even disable the wifi.

- The memory. I know many are saying "Why pay [price] for 16gb when i get 120gb for [price]?" Well that's a hard drive. hard drives are cheaper, and also contain moving parts. Flash drives are solid-state, nothing moves in them, and are a bit faster. They are very expensive, and an 8gb drive will cost about [price] on its own. So Apple has very reasonably priced these ipods.

All in all, one of the best mp3 players available. I am very pleased with it. Invest in a decent case, also. Just in case.

Best EVER November 7, 2008 Reviewer:  cold_weather "Krispy" (Rochester, MN, USA)  See all my reviews >

I love this ipod. You can do so many things with it, and it's easy to use. The only bad thing is that you can't use all the applications unless you are connected through wi-fi. Withouth wi-fi you can only listen to music and do limited things. Otherwise, LOVE IT!

Amazing iPod!! January 5, 2009 Reviewer:  K. Larson Real Name See all my reviews >

My sister and I each got one for Christmas from my parents, and we LOVE it. I'm a college student and use mine a lot for productivity and staying organized, as well as playing games. My sister uses hers mostly for playing games and surfing youtube. My boyfriend has the 1st generation iPod touch and plays games on it all the time and is always playing around with the interface. This iPod does it ALL. It's the perfect PDA. I take it everywhere with me, and instead of copying my work schedule onto a sheet of paper to only be thrown away later (yes this iPod saves trees), I type it right into my iCalc on my iPod, and the next time I plug it in to be charged, it syncs directly to my Mac. The applications barely take up any space on the iPod, so the 8GB of storage works fine for me. The battery lasts a while depending on what you use it for. I generally only have to charge it when I go to bed, and it's good for the amount of time I use it during the day. If you aren't sure if the iPod will be beneficial to you, check out the applications in the iTunes store. There is something for everyone.

LOVE IT! February 18, 2009 Reviewer:  Barbara J. Burrell Real Name (MICHIGAN)  See all my reviews >

My husband bought this for me (we picked up the open item at BB and then purchased the ext. warranty). I do not think there is anything that I do not like about this ipod. This is my first ipod and I have to say I am glad that I waited :D I love the touch features more than I can say. The apps are awesome and it allows me to carry my bible and concordance with me and access them when I need and want them. My primary reason for purchasing was for listening to mp3 bible sermons and wow was I surprised at how much more this product can do. My husaband wants his own now lol. It took me a lil bit to figure out how to upload from my computer to itunes and then sync it but once I found it all It was very easy.

I absolutely LOVE this iPod! July 14, 2009 Reviewer:  lovelovelove9k (Carolinas)  See all my reviews >

I just got this iPod for my birthday. I love it. I have so many videos and shows on it, and I love the fact how I can just buy and download apps right in my palms. The screen is really hard to clean. A case is recommended. My friend dropped mine, so now there is a clear line on the screen where they dropped it. But it is still sturdy. I accidentally threw it across my room and the screen was fine. If you press the sleep button and home button at the same time you can take a picture of whatever is currently on the screen. That is really cool, and something they never tell you in the booklets. I always take pictures of my home pages and tell people to pick and app and nothing comes up :). I will say I wish it had an actual camera and the onscreen keyboard can get hard to use. I love how you can listen to music on speaker without headphones. The sound quality is great and the screen has great images. I highly recommend this iPod.

A Little Wonder! December 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Abster Goes RAWR!!! "Abby J" (Austin, Texas)  See all my reviews >

I recently purchased this iPod and I am very satisfied!! You can browse the Internet free of charge as long as you have Wi-fi connection, purchase music and applications from iTunes on the go, watch YouTube videos as you please, watch shows, videos and movies, look at pictures, and of course listen to music! It is so easy to use that I am typing this review on my iPod touch right now! I also love the Genius feature, where it can create a playlist based on a song of your choice. Very cool. The side volume control also comes in handy, and the speaker allows you to listen to anything without headphones, which is useful at times. The only downside is that the charge gets easily sucked up with Internet or apps. Yet, all in all, this is a wonderful little device that you will find yourself addicted to from the very first touch.
