I was really worried about buying this table. One, because of all the shipping horror stories from all the other reviews. But two, because we could not see it in person.
The table arrived in four boxes in perfect condition. Took my husband about an hour to put it together. This table is very nice! I am very pleased with it. We are a family of four that fits with plenty of room and then with the leaf...it is perfect for one of our many parties. With the two kids..it has already taken a bit of banging and I have yet to see a dent, or scratch. I get compliments on my new beautiful table all the time! Worth every penny! (Which really wasn't all that bad, with Targets free shipping and 15% off) good deal!

I took a shot in the dark with this table and chairs set because I was not able to see it in person before I ordered it. My wife and I have been very pleased. It is great for casual dining (4-6 people). It would probably be too small for formal dining (w/ center pieces etc.). The chairs are very comfortable. The assebly instructions weren't the best, but it was easy enough to figure out. Plus, with standard delivery, I got it about 3 days after I ordered it. I am very happy with this dining set.
