I keep buying these for family members. You should know they are inflatable (blow them up once with the electric pump they send, and then youre done.) but inflatable means their easy to set up, and comfortable to lean against. I don't know about the other reviewers, because I have bought 4 of these already in different styles and am really pleased. Go ahead and spend hundreds more if you want, but you'll only get a really heavy headboard that you'll have to carry around every time you move, OR...you can get this new type of headboard, save beaucoup bucks, and pack it in gym bag when you move one day! I watch tv in bed, and read too, so I wanted something comfortable that looked stylish. This is it.

This does not even deserve a star. A blowup leather headboard!?! You've got to be kidding me! Don't know how we missed that rather large detail, but definitely a joke. We took it back immediately. My father always told me when something sounds too good to be true, it is.

This Hand Board is not 5 weeks old and I have already Fix 5 little holes, and it
It will not hold air every day it a new hole some where, man what a Mistake
to buy this" going to call the office and try to see if that will send a replacement
Air mattress, I will send this one back if they want it, looks like some one use it
For target practice. With all the patchs on it.

I tried to skimp out and buy a cheaper headboard. It’s pretty much a blow up mattress with a slipcover. The leather looked very wrinkled but smoothed out over a few days. The Velcro kept coming off the wall and so I rigged it with some wood slats and screwed the wood to the wall. So far so good. Came home a few days ago and noticed it wasn’t holding the air. So I gave up and ended up buying a new headboard. What a waste of money.

In general, I am pleased with this product. It arrived earlier than promised and was easy to install. I personally prefer the headboard mounted at boxspring level rather than at the mattress level suggested by the manufacturer. The only negative I have is that the headboard was wrinkled in appearance after inflation. Hopefully, the longer it is inflated, the wrinkles will smooth out.

when i was looking online for a beautiful (fake) leather headboard..i thought i hit the jackpot with this..until the little box arrived...OMG!...all i could do was laugh and so we put it up just to try it out..its a air mattress. it didnt stick to the wall and it had a hole in it...it was seriously the worst thing i have ever bought and it has been returned. i would not reccommend this to anyone

For me it's Smart looking at a good price. I cleaned the wall behind our bed and the holding power seems fine. We've had ours dabout 4 months, and like it alot. NOTE: this is NOT a traditional style of headboard. It's more like an airbed turned sideways, with a wellmade decorative cover on it. I watch TV in bed and its comfortable to prop up against. I think that this is probably the future for headboards, because it does a good job and the price is right. My wife and I just ordered a second one for the guest room, which until now never had a headboard.

Not that impressive. Wish I would have just gotten the more expensive one. It didnt stick to the wall, and so now my 2 year old uses it to 'surf' down the hall. Don't cut corners, just buy the more expensive one. :(

I am impressed with this headboard. I got the brown faux leather one. It looks like real leather and actually feels very soft and supple. It was easy to put up. I thought it was too wrinkled and loose at first, but realized that I just needed to blow it up more. Once I got it completely filled, most of the wrinkles came out and it looks just great.
I was also very pleased at the large size of this headboard. I can pile up the pillows and you can still see quite a big section of the headboard above them.
I wish I could post a picture - it's beautiful.

I read the reviews before purchasing this item, and after receiving it one word comes to mind, "Over-rated". This item seemed to get pretty good reviews, so I decided to get it. Big mistake! I am returning it ASAP. It is inflatable, which I knew, but the reason I do not like it is because it LOOKS inflatable. The only honest review that I saw summed it up… It looks like a child sized air-mattress hanging on the wall. The pictures online do it way more justice than in person. After blowing mine up it was still wrinkled from the packaging which made it look even worse. I am going to spend the extra $100 to get a real upholstered head board.
