It really is little February 28, 2006 Reviewer:  D. King "frequent online shopper" Real Name (North Carolina, USA)  See all my reviews >

This is a great product, I'm sure. We just received it in the mail today and unfortunately I'm going to have to return it and order a larger Baby Bjorn model. It is just too small. My 3-year-old tried to sit on it and said, "It's a baby potty!" I didn't realize that it was so small when I ordered it. It would be great for a very young child who is just starting. I did notice that it is very sturdy.

Too small, low and unstable March 14, 2007 Reviewer:  Kevin C. Fischthal Real Name See all my reviews >

My son, 21 months, cannot get out of this potty w/o difficulty & my assistance. It is very light and & has no stability so it goes everywhere. It is too light and too low to the ground in my opinion. However it makes a great bathroom toy bin! Maybe it would be better for a smaller toddler or baby; my son is about 30" tall.

The best potty April 23, 2008 Reviewer:  miamiartist (Miami, FL)  See all my reviews >

This potty is great! We have been using Elimination Communication since our daughter was 5 weeks old, and this potty has been great. Definitely worth it; it's light, portable, and comfortable for her.

Great Little Potty March 23, 2008 Reviewer:  kpirtle "kpirtle" (Texas)  See all my reviews >

I have a 2 year old son, and we started potty training with the potty that has the removable cup. He was getting frustrated with having to always sit back, and make sure everything was in it's proper place as to not make a mess all over the place. In turn he was put off...so I found this potty and it is so easy. All he has to do is sit, and do his business. My only issues is I wish it had a non-skid bottom. It is not as convenient as having a removable cup, but who says potty training a toddler is supposed to be convenient. I do warn that if you have a bigger child this seat might be a little small...my son is 24 pounds and has no issues, but for a bigger child it might not be as comfy. When they sit it is more of a squatting position than an actual sitting position, and they are very low to the floor. A child with longer legs or a wider frame might have some issues.

Too small! June 25, 2008 Reviewer:  Ericka Reynolds Real Name See all my reviews >

Waaaay too small! Be sure and read the dimensions before purchase. My son is 2 and is practically sitting on the floor! The size of this potty is made for a 1 yr old, if not younger. The design is great, but just too small. It's great if your going to start potty training at 9mos! or if you have a very small child.

This is a potty chair of infants who are being EC'd April 13, 2008 Reviewer:  EW (CO)  See all my reviews >

I read the other reviews of how this potty chair is too small. It is if you are trying to use it for a 2 year old. This potty chair was designed for infants who are being trained with the Elimination Communication method. My 6 month old uses this and it works fantastic!

PERFECT POTTY! February 18, 2009 Reviewer:  rightonprospect See all my reviews >

Can't say enough good things about this little red potty! I'm very surprised to read several reviews describing it as too small. My children LOVED it so much, my son occasionally wanted to use it even after he was accustomed to using the toilet. And my kids are not small.
All children are different, yes. But I suggest you give this one a try. The BEST feature is how easy it is to keep it really CLEAN!
Keep a canister of Lysol wipes handy and you're all set. Love it!

Perfect for early trainers July 1, 2009 Reviewer:  Dagon's mama "Janette A." (Parker colorado)  See all my reviews >

This is the best potty for babies and toddlers. Not intimidating and puts toddlers in the squat position they usually potty in anyway. My son is 15 months, 23 pounds and 30 inches. Just his size.

Unsuitable for our son at any age October 24, 2008 Reviewer:  Lazarus' mom (Unionville, IN)  See all my reviews >

This is a nice, simple, and cute potty chair. However, the guard wasn't tall enough to prevent our male toddler from urinating straight out and onto the floor. Also, when he would stand up, the chair would stick (via suction) to him for a moment, finally clattering onto the floor and spilling any remaining contents onto the tile. After a few months, our son can no longer sit on the chair at all because it is too low to the ground. If I help him onto it, he cries that the chair hurts.

We had better luck with a brand called "Summer". It has a very functional "pee guard" and a cushioned seat. The only real problem with this product is that you need to clean the underside of the removable seat as well as the removable pee guard and the collection pail after each time. (T

LOVE IT! August 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Ruby's mom See all my reviews >

My daughter went potty the first time she sat on it! Love it! She is 9 1/2 months and sat on The First Years potty I had taken out for another boy in my care to train on. She had trouble balancing her body on The First Years' one so the BBLP is perfect for her. She's gone potty everyday for 2 weeks now!
