Awesome buy for the price. March 31, 2008 Reviewer:  M. Betancourt "MBetancourt" Real Name (Katy, TX)  See all my reviews >

Over the course of 2 kids, I have owned jogging strollers from Chicco, Quinny and Phil and Ted. All strollers that I loved. I only sold my Phil and Ted because I am down to 1 stroller kiddo and someone (crazily) paid me 80% of what I paid for it 2 years before.

I can say that I am really happy with the quality of the Baby Trend stroller. It is only used at home for walking so I can not comment on its packability. It is very comfortable for my daughter, feels sturdy and turns/moves like a stroller that costs MUCH more than $99.

I love the fact that it has 2 kid cup holders and 2 cup holders in the back for parents along with a compartment to hold your keys and phone. The basket underneath is also a decent size. All features that were lacking in other strollers.

Front Tire Frustrations May 5, 2009 Reviewer:  Laura Rothert Real Name (Charlotte, NC, USA)  See all my reviews >

The front tire shakes regardless of what you do. This is a great stroller for anyone who only wants to walk slower than 3 miles an hour. If you go any faster than that you just might crash because of the crazy front tire. DO NOT throw the box or receipt away because chances are you will want to return this stroller. Also, don't wait until your baby is old enough to use it to put it together and try it out. The manufacturers warranty expires 180 days after purchase.

love it love it April 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Sew Happy "Mrs. C. Plummer" (Pittsburgh, PA, USA)  See all my reviews >

Yes, the front tire shimmied hard, but thats because the nut that holds the front tire (located under the footrest) just needed tightening. Problem solved. the previous poster must not have read the directions *completely.* It can be found in the troubleshooting guide, so it must be a common thing. It did it to me after i went over really rough terrain (potholes, ect), and after we tightend the nut, it drove like new again. I havent had to do it again in the 9 months that i've owned it.
I dont own the grey mist color. I own the green color. same stroller. different color fabric.
I love this stroller because i can go over grass and bumps and my child isnt jostled badly. It is so easy to handle that my elderly grandmother elbows me out of the way in order to push it! It rolls so smoothly that it takes little effort to walk behind, and it also folds flat. The wheels have a quick-release and I have stowed it behind the drivers seat in a pinch. The basket is generous and i like the parking brake features on the rear tires. Also, the hood can be pulled down to meet the snack tray if the sun is shining in her face. Alot of strollers dont have that feature. If i had to, I would definately buy this stroller ten times over.

Didn't hold up March 22, 2009 Reviewer:  Amanda R. (Oakwood, IL)  See all my reviews >

I bought this stroller about a year ago and have gotten about eight months use out of it. At first, I loved it. But it has failed to hold up over frequent (2-3 times a week) use.
First of all, the drawstring style seat adjustment is difficult to use. It requires two hands to do so and you can't adjust it at all when your kid is in it.
The tires are great. This stroller has gone through the woods (off trail), over boggy ground, and through very tight spaces. We've only gotten it wedged once (between two rock walls). However, after three months or so, the front wheel started to shake uncontrollably while walking. We have to use the stroller with the wheel always locked which makes it a pain to steer. In addition, despite frequent cleaning and keeping the stroller stored indoors, the rims are covered with rust.
The levers that you squeeze to collapse the stroller jam frequently, which requires my husband to "coerce" it into folding. This would be fine, except it means I can no longer take the stroller out on my own. I wouldn't be able to get it back into the car. This is huge because my husband does not enjoy jogging and so rarely accompanies me.

All in all, this is a good budget stroller for someone planning on cruising the mall or an occasional hike, but don't expect it to hold up over time. Buy something better built.

This Stroller/Jogger Fit the Bill! April 18, 2008 Reviewer:  Anna R. Pena "ArptoArk" (Chicago, IL United States)  See all my reviews >

I received the stroller a few weeks back. My husband wasn't able to put it together for me so I attempted to do it last night (I am not really good at putting things together - all thumbs!) Well, I DID it! It took me all of 15 minutes to do it AND I read all the instructions 2xs before I even started to put it together.

The stroller rides smooth and was not too heavy or bulky. Luka, my son liked it so much that when our jog/walk was over he cried when I pulled him out of it.

My son is not a big baby (20lbs) and although it is super roomy with room for growth, it is not so big that he is slipping out of the sides. I was joggin in a neighborhood side walk and there are lots of bumps and ridges and the buggy was handling it very well. I was able to push the stroller with one hand and maneuver it easily.

I highly recommend this purchase. For $99 you get the best of both worlds in terms of a stroller and a jogger. It is great!

The only drawback is that there is an opening between the parent tray and the back of the seat where a lot of wind goes through. It would have been better if there was some fabric that covered that opening to protect the baby's head from the elements. I will probably put some velcro strips on the canopy and stick some fabric to cover the opening. Other than this teeny tiny drawback, the stroller is wonderful!

Pros/Cons May 9, 2009 Reviewer:  Tucks mom "Sarah" (North Carolina)  See all my reviews >

Pro: great for quick "off road" maneuvers, our town doesn't have consistent sidewalks and this stroller is great for the bumps of the grass and gravel without disturbing a sleeping baby
Con: front wheel will shake intermittently, not sure if its speed or road that does it but its not all the time
Pro: otherwise very smooth ride
Con: Sun hood doesnt come down all the way in the front which is frustrating at sun set / sun rise
Pro: looks very nice and good price
Con: cannot open/close with one hand! have to put baby down

overall i will keep the stroller and continue to use it everyday

An Amazing Stroller April 12, 2008 Reviewer:  Thrilled Mom of Toddler "Allison" (Canada)  See all my reviews >

I just went across the line to purchase this stroller (I am a Canadian) after researching for several months. I was not happy with my previous stroller and I had a long list of qualites I was looking for in a stroller including... three air-filled tires, swivel/locking front wheel (essential in my opinion) child food/beverage tray, parent drink tray, large storage basket and most importantly... price!! This stroller met all of my long list of must-haves (even though my friends thought I was a dreamer!!) I would highly recommend this stroller for people who want an all-terrain/jogging stroller that can be easily manoevered in stores as well. I can't believe that this stroller was only $99 I think that it looks and feels like it cost a lot more... so I think that is a great purchase!!

Love It! May 2, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy Consumer (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

Great Jogger! Assembly is required, mine did come with instructions and it took less than ten minutes to assemble. Also, the front wheel does swivel, as it is intended to when you walk with the stroller. It's my understanding that if you are going to jog, you are supposed to lock the front wheel in a straight position so that it doesn't swivel, which is done easily in 1 second. Very smooth, lightweight, easily maneuverable and easily collapsable for storage.

FRONT WHEEL FELL OFF April 17, 2009 Reviewer:  yummymummy "AshB1" (Chicago)  See all my reviews >

I would not even give this jogger 1 star. It was my first time using this stroller. We didn't even make it a block before it felt like I hit a brick wall. I looked down, and the front tire had fallen off. Screws, bolts, and springs were rolling down the side walk. Thank God our son was strapped in tight because it could have been a VERY dangerous situation. I have heard of this happening before, but didn't think it could happen to me. It did. I will NEVER purchase a Baby Trend product again. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Front Tire Shakes...Worthless March 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Chad (Apple Valley, MN)  See all my reviews >

Like others, I noticed that when you jog with this jogger the front tire shakes so much that you thinka tire is going to come off. This was big waste of money, I would stay away from this jogger and baby trend in general. It works fine if you only walk but whats the point of having a jogger if you can't JOG>.
