This little $20 blender suits all my needs including making drinks with ice or frozen fruit. The pulse enables the blender to handle solid ingredients - after a few pulses I turn the knob to one of two blending speeds and in a couple seconds it's done. The plastic jar and screw on blade unit are easily washed in the dishwasher and far less troublesome than those silly "smoothie makers" with spigot dispensers! The jar can even be used as a drinking vessel even though it doesn't look as refined as a glass. I have a heavy duty deluxe blender with more speeds and a larger capacity - it takes up a lot more room on the counter and you know what? I never use it because this one suits all my needs.

I have a smoothie for breakfast just about every morning, and until now have been making them in my food processor (I never saw a need for a blender, since the food processor pretty much does all of those tasks). However, I'd gotten tired of the mess of pouring my smoothie out of the processor and washing the processor every morning. When I saw this little guy it looked perfect, and for the great price I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out. I've been using it for about a week and it's been working wonderfully. I was concerned that it would burn out or otherwise have trouble with the frozen bananas I use in my smoothies, but it blended them up like a much more expensive machine. I love that I can just flip the canister over, change to the travel lid, and be on my way in the morning!

I've had this blender since Aug '07, and I couldn't be happier! I have a fancy Cuisinart blender/food processor at home, but wanted to have my weekday smoothies later... AFTER I got to work. After MUCH research, I chose this little guy. I can keep it my desk and take it to the kitchen when I'm ready to make my breakfast. The thermos makes it easy to transport around the office. I even bring it to meetings! All components of this machine are sturdy and VERY well made. I use it an average of 4 times/week, and I've never had a problem with it.

Very useful blender. It's compact, makes great shake in the morning and VERY EASY clean up. I haven't tried it with ice because I (like in the previous review) use frozen fruit. Highly recommend for someone who wants to make a protein shake in the morning and go.

I've been using my blender for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love, love, love it. I use this for a protein shake in the morning and it is fast, easy to clean, and very handy. It is perfect for 1 shake.
Now that I have it I wouldn't want to live without it :-)

This is a great little machine. I make a smoothie for breakfast every morning. It produces hardly any mess, because you make it right in your cup. I love the handle and the to go lid that you don't have on many of the other similar machines. The only thing I would like to see is for them to sell extra cups. I would like to have a second one because every now and then I forget my cup at work.

I am so happy to have a simple kitchen tool. Everything seems to have to have 47 functions these days, and I don't like it. This blender does the job I want, it doesn't get upset and jam or claim I didn't direct it properly...it blends. I've been given other kitchen gadgets that one would need an MBA to use. This blender blends well, and it doesn't yell at me. Hurrah for simplicity.

This is awesome. I have had it for over a year and a half and have used it at least once a week since I got it. I use it for protein smoothies. I got rid of the blender completely. You only need to put the cup into the dishwasher after you finsih drinking out of it. The clean up is a cinch and it seriously works so well because after a year and a half of use, it is still going strong. I've never needed or missed having a blender since I got this. It's the fastest, easiest way to get a healthy breakfast shake with no clean up hassel. If you're making drinks for just one or two people, this is the best thing to have.

I ordered this for easier use than a full size smoothie machine with lots of parts to clean. I have the Back To Basics smoothie machine which is a powerhouse, but wanted something quick and easy and didn't like what I read about the Magic Bullet. I love whey protein shakes and wanted to find something that can grind up the ice really well and froth it up - with 350 watts, I knew this would do what I wanted. Okay, it's brand new but I'm having appliance love right now!

I love this blender. I have had several larger ones that were so bulky and loud and then did not work as well. This one does crush the ice as others have written. I love it.
