I bought this for my six-year-old for Christmas. It's very easy for an adult to use, but a little harder for a child. You really have to PUSH the button in on the side, and hold it down, to talk - not that easy for small fingers. Overall, it's okay. My daughter gets frustrated with not being able to hold the button down. She doesn't play with it for long periods of time.

This toy is not only difficult to use for children with little hands but replacing the batteries costs as much as buying a new set. What a joke! I'm no eco crazed nut, but I do believe in effiency and being practical with children's gifts. My 5 year old is finally strong enough to push the button to talk and now the batteries are dead after having this a year. I will not pay the $16.50 plus tax for new batteries. Target, this is a poor product selection and you should remove it from your shelves.
