My husband and I received these as a wedding gift to match all of our bright white servingware. I had read the reviews that stated: these are not ivory but a beautiful WHITE. I was very upset when I received them, because as the picture clearly shows: they are not white- but ivory. They are, however, a great value. So if you are not trying to match them to servingware- get them! They are heavy and are a great value! However, do not buy them assuming the reviews are correct on the color: they are certainly not white.

I agree with the other review. This looks ivory, but I promise it is very white. Great product for the money, especially since it comes 8 to a setting. I'm done with all my plate for my family!

This collection is nice in color, size and weight--similar to basic dinnerware found at more expensive retailers. The photo portrays them as too ivory, but they are a nice sugar white. I wanted something simple and basic for casual meals, but impressive enough for dinner guests. They fit the bill perfectly and look great displayed in my black china hutch.
