I bought this a few weeks ago and hoped it was the same as the Bella Band I'd seen on other sites. It is, and at a great price! Maternity pants are still too big, but many of my work pants are too tight around my waist. This band has saved money by allowing me to wear my pre-pregnancy pants long after they've gotten too small.

Don't listen to the bad reviews, if you are newly pregnant you will want this product and will ADORE it. This is my 1st pregnancy & I love that I can still very comfortably wear my jeans since maternity doesn't fit yet (bought it at 14 wks, 16 wks now). I did a lot of online as well as local searching & Target had the best price, and it is the name brand Bellaband. Best way to wear it: step into it, pull it up onto your tummy with lower portion covering your panties a bit, pull up jeans on top of the lower portion of Bella Band, then fold upper portion of Bella Band over unbuttoned/partially unzipped jeans. Truly stays put, comfy, and just looks like a tank/layered look under your shirt. Durable material, soft, no vertical seam. Excellent product- every newly pregnant woman should have one, and I know it'll come in handy to snug up too big maternity pants (since they don't usually have belt loops :) !) and again postpartum when nothing fits quite right. Hope you love your new Bellaband as much as I do!
-P.S. I am now 33 weeks & I am still using my Bella Band with my pre-pregnancy jeans & I've gained 27 lbs, almost all in the belly! Awesome investment, couldn't recommend the Bellaband more! Every pregnant woman needs one!!!!

I was worried that since I'm a plus size mom (size 20 pre-pregnancy), this wouldn't fit me properly. Of course, it doesn't fit like it appears on the models, but the size M/L does fit! I don't like maternity panels on jeans because I don't feel supported in the lower tummy area, but I can wear regular jeans with this, instead of maternity jeans, and feel more supported and like my belly looks smoother. As a bigger mom, it can be hard to find even maternity shirts that are long enough to provide good belly coverage, but this allows me to wear even non-maternity shirts and have a little extra length at the bottom. I wouldn't say this necessarily holds up jeans, but it does provide some coverage and smoothes out the bumps if you wear jeans that will stay on your hips unbuttoned.

Nice, but it's not a faux-undershirt

I just bought mine today to cover the growing gap between the bottom of my shirt and the top of my maternity pants. My non-maternity size is 8-10, but I went with the M/L and it seems like it would be the right size even if I wasn't at max capacity. The picture on the package made me think it would look like I was wearing a long t-shirt under a sweater, but the material is more like that of thick nylon tights. However it does provide comfortable support for a 38-weeks-pregnant belly, and it helps hide my temporary "outie".
If you are familiar with the newer maternity jeans that have an attached stretchy nylon top, this is basically the top without the jeans. It might take some finesse to keep this band from looking like the exposed top of your maternity pants. For the record, I have not experienced the unpleasant rolling at the edges, just a little bit of riding up when I was getting in and out of the car.

Before I bought my Bellabands from Target, I bought knockoffs on [another site], attempting to save a couple of bucks. They were basically semi-stretchy t-shirt material, home sewn with a big fat seam running up one side. It did the job, but not terribly well.
When Target had a free shipping deal, I figured I would try the real deal Bellabands. What a difference! These have no vertical seam, and due to the fabric used, a TON of stretch. I'm normally a 6/8 and my work slacks were the first to get really uncomfortable. I ordered the M/L size for comfort and the ability to last a while into my pregnancy.
They're wonderfully comfortable and do a great job of holding my pants in place while unbuttoned. I wear mine folded over in half, which also has the pleasant side effect of providing some support to my belly--that newly protruding feeling can feel a bit weird. They don't bunch up like the generic ones do, either. To be honest, my work pants haven't been this comfortable in a long time. Had I known about these I probably would have bought them before I was pregnant, hahah. They really do just look like a layering piece under your shirt, sweater, etc.
I'm only just now barely starting to "pop" out (at 13 weeks), but I can see these bands will last me a while and keep me out of the dreaded maternity pants for quite some time.

Helps with the awkward stage

I am currently 21 weeks pregnant with my first child and purchased the black and white bands about 5 weeks ago. I am at that awkward stage in my pregnancy where I definitely can't button my pants but maternity is just silly looking. These have been wonderful! I have hips and a smaller waist and these work great. I can leave my pants unbuttoned and even unzipped and these hold them up nicely. I am constantly moving at home and at work and they hold up well and do not roll up. Be sure to put the side with the wider hem down, it won't roll up this way. I would highly recommend trying them, they will extend your wardrobe.

I purchased this online and was a bit skeptical, however to my surprise, I love it. I'm a larger woman pre-pregnancy so I thought that it wouldn't fit but the material stretches really well. I'm almost 5 months pregnant and in need of some support. This really helps. It also holds up my maternity pants that are still a little too big on me. The only complaint is when I sit down and get back up I have to fix it from behind. It tends to roll up. I don't think it's the band I think it's the booty!

I got this when I realized I was too big for my regular clothes, but my maternity pants were too big. I absolutely love it. I have had no problems with rolling at all, but I also think that it does run a little big so if your a normal medium get the smaller size. I wear mine almost everyday and LOVE IT!!!!

I'm 5 months pregnant and find the band very practical. It keeps my belly warm and I don't have any problems with it rolling up nor down. For the price I paid, I'm satisfied, I only wished that it was a little longer, so I can bend without worry of exposing my behind.

Rolls Down :(

I think that this is a great support system while pregnant, however being that I work retail and am constantly bending, sitting, standing, etc, I found that it has a tendancy to roll. I am 6 feet tall, and in my 4th month of pregnancy. I love the support that this band offers while I stand and walk, as well as the smoothness it creates under my clothes. Any bend at the waist, however, and I find myself running to the bathroom to adjust the rolling up and down of the band on my backside...
