The top of the tray is nice, however the legs are poorly made. They will collapse inward the second you move it, so don't be fooled by glowing reviews. If you're going to set this thing down with 2 hands and not move it, then fine. If you're trying to set it down with one hand, or you dare move it sideways, you'll have a mess to clean up. While the item is nicely made, they should have put locks to keep the legs in standing position while in use. Then again, you get what you pay for was a decent price.

I received this tray as a wedding gift and it's a perfect height for using in bed as well as sitting on the sofa for my laptop. Definitely recommend it.

This is great to have for sick days or breakfast in bed. It is sturdy yet folds up easily. The ledge isn't so high that it's hard to eat off of. The only thing is that you can't put food directly on the tray. The surface of the tray isn't "food safe", which is kind of weird for a bed tray. I just put a place mat down on it, no big deal.
