Deceptive Advertising April 6, 2009 Reviewer:  TheirMom "Mommy2Boys" (Houston, TX)  See all my reviews >

We purchased this toy and our son was already playing with when we noticed that there was no ladybug xylophone. We tried to take it back before we'd read these reviews and and realized that none of the sets contained the xylophone. My husband called Battat at 800-247-6144 to complain and the woman on the other line already knew that the item was missing and was very argumentative and defensive. She simply said that it was no longer included and offered no explanation for why it was still being advertised with the xylophone.

Our son likes banging the drum, but isn;t interested in anything else. The lid does not stay on the drum, and the jingle bell ant is really too thick for him to hold with one hand.

We love shopping at Target and are generally happy with most things we buy there, but we are really disappointed that Target hasn't changed it's advertising to reflect the actual product that it is selling.

Music to my ears! December 9, 2008 Reviewer:  KIEVMOM (USA)  See all my reviews >

What a wonder toy set! It has everything one can possibly want to play with and make music! We got this for our not yet 1 year old at that time and he liked it from the start. Now he is 18 m and still plays with it more than ever. He likes to hang the drum over his shoulders and walk around like a little drummer boy :) too cute. He likes music and every time he listens to it he has to play along:)

Love this toy and would recomend it to anyone! September 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Dannielle M. Niewald "Dannielle" Real Name (Honolulu, HI)  See all my reviews >

We bought this for our son for his first birthday and from the minute he pulled the paper off of the drum, he knew what to do! He pulled the lid off of the drum, pulled the drumsticks out and went to banging away! All of the instruments are durable and enjoyable for our son. I would recomend this product for anyone with a child age 1 and up. It really helps to develop interest in sound, rhythm, and vibration. I will definitely be getting this for my son's friends for their birthday!

Toxic toy!!! May 2, 2008 Reviewer:  smart Mama See all my reviews >

I had this toy tested by a professional and it tested very very high for Bromine. It tested at 2,100 which is huge. Bromine can cause developmental problems as well as reproductive problems in boys and girls.
Don't buy this toy!!!!

Love it November 25, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Preuss Real Name See all my reviews >

My son recieved this as a first birthday gift, he loved it and still plays with it a year later. I like many others have taken away the drum sticks as he either puts them in his mouth to run or beats on everything else ie computer screen windows etc with them - that is NOT the toys fault though just the nature of children. We have had to throw out our cover as it tore from being used as a stepstool, I think the cover and bottom should have been made of the same hard plastic as the sides. Otherwise great toy! We love the jingle ant, can't get much sound from the ladybug but overall is a fun toy for us to play with together with some jazzy music in the background :)

Awesome toy September 25, 2008 Reviewer:  A. Spickard "Abby" Real Name (TN)  See all my reviews >

My son absolutely loves this toy, my nephew had one before my son was born so I already knew it was a great toy but wondered if my son would like it when it was given as a gift for his birthday. It's not nearly as loud as other musical toys and very colorful as well. I've already given it as a gift twice and plan to many more times. Kids love this toy!!!

Fantastic toy still have 5 years later September 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Devoted Target Shopper (Naples, FL, USA)  See all my reviews >

We still have this toy five years later and will use with 2nd child. This still gets played with to music at home on CD. Very durable everything has held up and has been used at multiple play dates over 5 years.

Great Set December 27, 2007 Reviewer:  NYC Mama See all my reviews >

I bought this for my daughter's first birthday and she loved it so much, I made sure I got it for my niece this year! Great set for the money. Better than other drum sets. The package comes with several musical instruments great for toddlers and it all packs neatly in the drum, which by-the-way isn't annoying because the plastic drum top isn't loud. Just loud enough to entertain a toddler and not hurt an adults ears. By far the best drum set I've seen.

I FEEL CHEATED!!!! March 12, 2009 Reviewer:  Blmedwards (Nashua, NH, USA)  See all my reviews >

FEEL CHEATED -
I have bought this several times before and always felt it was a good value, a great toy for the price. Now it costs more and there is a large instrument (a ladybug xylophone) not included. You can still find the original Bee Bop Band on line. Be careful what you order and really look inside. Don’t get cheated like I did. Plus I tried to contact magazine and manufacturer and they’re not helping at all. Form letters and no call-backs. In this economy while we’re watching our purchases cheating is worse than ever.

Where's the ladybug? January 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Rachel Cardoso Real Name See all my reviews >

My son first played with this toy at a coworkers xmas party, and he LOVED it. his favortie part was the ladybug xylophone. I bought this for him only to find out the ladybug xylophone was not included!! I was VERY upset and so was my son, who asked where the ladybug was! I would not have bought this toy had i realized this before i eagerly opened it. Would have rather purchased a drum and xylophone seperately, becuase the other toys included are just fancy rattles. Very disapointed. wouldn't recomend this toy.
