Worked well, then cracked September 6, 2007 Reviewer:  Pleased Customer "Tiffany G" (Southern California)  See all my reviews >

I used this about three times a month for seven months, then it cracked on me. It is thinner than other stones I've seen, I'm not sure if that played a part in it cracking.

I use it several times a week June 5, 2009 Reviewer:  Gina "Gina" (Dallas, TX, USA)  See all my reviews >

I own several baking stones ranging from expensive ones and this one. I absolute love them all. I bake almost everything on it: pizza, cookies, biscuits, frozen burritos, taquitos, chicken patties, just about anything that won't run! Everything always come out perfect. My husband can't even burn anything when he uses one of our stones.

The number one thing you have to remember is NEVER use soap to clean it. The soap will soak into the stone and be hard to get the taste of soap out. I just use a plastic scraper or spatula and hot water to clean it. Also they are supposed to look stained and ugly (that just means it is well seasoned.)

The first couple of times you use this make sure to oil it up. You can spray it with PAM or I just worked some olive oil into it. After doing that a couple of times it should be fine and not much will stick to it.

great pizza stone, works like a charm May 19, 2009 Reviewer:  FJ (Boston)  See all my reviews >

You have to know how to use one of these:

1. don't wash it with soap
2. be careful - these are fragile
3. if food sticks to it,it's not that hard to clean - hot water and a sponge (that you don't want to use on much else), along with one of those flat pieces of plastic that can get the grime off will do the trick.

We baked bread on ours, made calzones, and used it for 5 years for great tasting pizza. It has a higher temp tolerance than some other brands out there. It cracked because I dropped it & I'm buying another one!

hard to clean January 12, 2008 Reviewer:  newlywed "k.b." (florida)  See all my reviews >

i got this pizza stone for a wedding gift (from my gift registry). tonight i used it for the first time. the pizza stuck to the stone. then when it cooled and i started to clean it...uh oh. the stuck pieces of food would not come off. so now it looks/is dirty. not sure i like that. the little bit of information that comes with the stone was not helpful in directions for use or cleaning. i was a bit disappointed. many of my friends use baking stones and are thrilled with them. i guess i should have asked for a more expensive one????
