It does leak horribly. The suction is okay but others are better. I bought this because of being rechargable but have had the WORST problem with it keeping a charge. And now I cannot get it to charge at all. Will have to replace. For the money I would spend more on another machine. Not worth the hassle!

I bought this a year ago, and it works well on spots (resist the temptation to clean a whole room) new and old (I rarely get to/find the spots when I should). It does require some elbow grease, but the suction is excellent, and mine does not leak a drop. The Bissell cleaning solution does a pretty good job (we don't strive for perfection around here as things rarely stay clean for long).

Cleaning after each use is an appliance ownership basic, so make the time and things will last longer. My experience with "rechargable" appliances of all type, size and manufacturer is that charge time of 12+ hours is generally necessary for optimal operation time of 10-15 minutes. Rechargeable batteries of any kind lose their ability to hold a charge over time, so factor this into you decision when making your initial purchase. And if you don't like it, don't be shy about returning it!

This product did a horrible job. I have 2 cats that throw up a lot and was hoping this would help.
Product doesn't suck enough, it doesn't hold a charge for more than 1 use, and the seal ended up cracking when I was trying to clean it.

I got this to clean stains from potty training, A kid a dog and also the cat stains. It has a very small recovery tank and much to my dismay it sprays this funk out of the side vents if to much is collected. Once this happens good luck ever getting the smell out of it. Every time i use it it smells verry bad. Plus it does not spray cleaner verry well. and the spots seem to come back when they dry. i used the recomended stuff. just not gonna use it any more!

I have had this for over 6 months and I really love it. I use it for pet stains (#1 and #2) as well as spills from my two young kids. I really works great and so convenient to have handy. I started using Shaklee H2 instead of the other cleaner, can't use more than a drop but, it works great and better for the environment. You do need to keep it charged, doesn't have a really long battery life but, it is only meant for small spills, not cleaning the whole room. If you want to clean an entire room, you need to purchase something that is meant for that. The only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars is that the storage/dirty water container is VERY hard to remove, that is the only thing that frustrates me about this. I do remove it and clean it after EVERY use because it will stink if you leave it sit (OBVIOUS isn't that?). Highly recommend this item!

This item has been a complete life saver!!! Yes, you do have to keep it charged, but it is completely worth it! I keep mine charged and ready with the "Pet and Soil" solution and it not only gets the stain out, it gets the smell out too! If you own a new puppy this is a must have item! Definitely worth the money and better than hiring a carpet cleaner every time the dog has an accident.

Hint: Go over the area from different directions, placing the machine at different angles until you can see the liquid being sucked up. Also, keep it emptied!

This has been a lifesaver for me with two kids and two pets. It removes stains very well and is so convenient without a cord. I keep it continuously plugged in and use it when needed. You're hands never have to touch the stain or the liquid. It has also helped in two water overflows (thanks kids) in the bathroom for just sucking up the water from the small flood. I didn't give it five stars because with the first two I owned (an older version) the motor died on me.

When we first got this I thought it was the greatest thing ever. We have 2 dogs and it was awesome at cleaning "puppy mistakes". Then after a couple months it started leaking on our floor. OK whatever, at least it still works. Well, about 4 months into owning it, it started acting funny...very smelly (eventhough we throughly cleaned it after EVERY use), it sounded louder, etc. Then it completly broke...we took it apart in hopes that cleaning the parts would work...no luck. If you want something that will work really well for about 4 months, then this is the product for you! Otherwise...DO NOT PURCHASE!

I bought this vacume cleaner to remove urine stains that my dog left on my carpet. It is really effective at picking up stains on the floor (even if it isn't urine) as long as the stains aren't more than a week old. I have a Chihuahua who is not yet potty trained and this gets up his mess pretty good. When I moved recently I found some stains (my dog is pretty sneaky) that were at least a month old. It took a lot more scrubbing to get those up but they did come up eventually. Also the charge on this vac doesn't hold for long(maybe 4 to 6 uses-30 sec or so long). I had to recharge it A LOT! Overall it was a good buy for the price. I would reccomend it.
