I have 2 dogs, one is getting on in years and has accidents now and then, so I bought this cleaner to keep up after the dogs and random spots that happen occasionally.

I LOVE this product! It is easy to use, easy to clean, very portable, and works like a charm. If you dont need to clean huge areas of carpet and need it for spot cleaning, this is a really great product at an affordable price.

I highly recommend it!

I have two dogs and was looking for a portable carpet cleaner to deal with pet accidents and messes. The first time I used this machine, I was excited at what a great job it did cleaning up the mess and then I noticed the mess the machine itself was making. The cleaning fluid and dirty water leaked out of the bottom and caused a big mess. It continued to leak until I completely drained everything out of it. Don't buy this unless you want a big hassle.

I was extremely disappointed with this product. After reading the product description and the other customer reviews, I expected powerful suction with deep cleaning abilities. This was not the case at all. The suction is so poor that it can barely even lift the water/cleaning solution from hard surfaces. In fact, I would not even consider this a deep cleaner, as you actually have to spray the fluid onto the surface to be cleaned and then use the vacuum portion to pick it up. The same functionality can actually be better performed using a spray bottle and a Shop-Vac. Furthermore, the "Turbo" Brush is completely pointless, seeing as it is powered by the vacuum suction (it stops when it touches carpet) and it forces you to choose between the ability to power the brush or use the vacuum. In other words, you cannot vacuum while the brush is on!

If you do choose to purchase this item, do not expect professional or even high quality. Expect a gimmick that should only be available around Christmas time along side the wine chillers and personal trimmers.

This was the greatest invention until the sprayer quit. I called a repair shop since it's out of warranty although I only used it 5 times before the sprayer quit. The shop said it would cost $45 to replace the pump. I decided to get a new one so took it apart myself...nothing to lose.
I found that the tube goes from the tank to a heater inside which was full of gunk! The pump wasn't a problem at all. I cleaned it out put the whole think back together and at first it didn't work. I squeezed the tubing a few times until it finally started working again. I took it out after a month and it wouldn't spray again.
Possibly the problem is due to a vapor lock and always needs priming since it seems I remember it taking a long time to get the sprayer to start the first time after I bought it. I don't even remember what the priming process is. What a frustrating experience since when it works, it's fantastic. You have to wonder when all the reviews say the same thing.

I just got this cleaner. And i love it. I have 2 pets and need something thats easy to carry around.

We have had our machine for numerous years now. Same model as this one. I don't care for the motorized attachment and mainly use the standard brush. We use this for pet accidents and kiddy messes. Cleans wonderfully. Easy to fill, easy to empty, easy to use.

Cons: If you are sensitive to smells, this isn't for you. You will be too close to the floor and the collection canister and the smell will get to you.

*Don't tip over! I did this the other day when I tried to pull it a bit closer to me with the hose instead of just getting up (wasn't pulling it that far)....dumped it sideways and EVERY bit of the collection cansister dumped out everywhere.

NOT for cleaning large areas, you'll break your back trying.

Difficult to "completely" empty collection canister. After the first use - it will forever look "gross".

Pros: powerful, works the same today as it did many years ago out of the box!

We purchased this over 2 years ago and used it to clean up pet messes on our rug. At first, it worked great. We even used it to clean our couch to look like new. However, after a few months, the vacuum started to leak dirty water out the bottom. We checked everything, but could not determine where the water was coming from. It was so frustrating to try to clean up a small spill or accident and actually create an even bigger mess with the leaking water. We are still on a search for a better quality product.

We have been through three of these things. The first one worked for 3x before leaking all the dirty water out the bottom onto the floor. The second one, the suction was broke right out of the box so we exchanged it for the third one. The last worked for about a half a dozen times then had problems with the suction device and leaked the dirty water out the bottom. As far as I am concerned this device is more headache then help.

My biggest problem was that there was not enough suction. Spraying and brushing can be done just as easily without this machine, it's the suction that makes the difference. This machine doesn't come close to being effective when it comes to extracting the stain. I tried it on 3 stains (cat puke, red juice, ash) none have come out completely. I can't recommend this product.
