I bought this for some extra counter space and because I thought it would match my black and white tile floor. It is solid construction. The butcher block is great. It took me a while to put it together mainly because I was trying to multi-task and forgot to put some screws in. I ended up having to take it apart and reassemble. Not hard at all if you actually follow the instructions. The storage along the sides is great. Holds so much stuff. Front drawer is small though.
