Great while it lasts

My son loved this drill for the whole HOUR that it lasted. He didn't do anything unusual to it and the entire end broke off leaving a very sharp piece sticking out( this was after one of the drill bits broke in half in the first 15min.). Maybe it was just the one we bought, but buyer beware.

My son (22 months) LOVES this toy! It is so real looking and I even loved to play with it. He plays with this a lot every day for the past two months. I did have to tape the bottom part on (not broken but the battery pack comes off after being dropped) only because my son dropped it on the cement outside many times so I am surprised it hasn't fallen apart. I was worried about the drill bits breaking but so far they are in great condition even though they have been beaten up a lot.

The bits are made of two pieces. It seems they are only attached together by a spot of glue. The bit fell apart the first night we gave it to my kid resulting in one very small base piece which can be swallowed very easily. [...]

I purchased this toy for my son at Target a couple of months ago. It is a very good pretend play toy for little boys. It is not very loud and it is very similar to an actual drill. It has multiple speeds, reverses directions, it lights up, and when you remove the pretend battery from the bottom, the actual battery is in it and therefore, it will not work. The only thing I don't like about it is there are 4 different drill bits and screws. If there was a place to keep them contained in the drill so that they don't get lost, that would be great. Other than that, we all love this toy and it is one of my son's favorites to play with.
