This is what you would expect from Bose. It's got lovely sound, it can be very loud if you choose, and it's easy to use. Pretty much self explanatory. We tried some cheaper ones and wound up with this Bose--what we should have tried in the first place. My only regret is that it does not include a radio. I would have liked a Bose radio in the same unit for some variation.

In a world where most electronic components like this are not made in the USA, the price of the Bose SoundDock is hard to justify. Like most items from Bose, there are alternatives to the SoundDock that are about 95-98% as good, but at less than half the price.

If the SoundDock was costing less, it would rate a 4.5 stars. But paying that extra [.] to gain a marginal improvement in sound makes it a questionable value and I rate it only a three. If you've got money to blow and need a gift for the someone who has everything, buy it. But you can get a very good alternative for a lot less money.

I couldnt believe the sound that thing is capable of creating! WOW! I was suprised, I knew BOSE was good but It was way more than what I expected. It is so powerful, and when it is turned on to max it does not change the sound even a little bit! Great quality I am really glad I chose this product! IT just doesnt compare to anything!

When I started looking for a new dock for my iphone I looked at reviews for hours. The only valid complaint anyone could come up with about this thing is the price. Bose has been around long enough for us all to know that they are proud of their products. In my opinion its justified. If you want the best you have to pay a little more to get it.

I love the SoundDock, and can't wait until they come out with a wireless version.

The sound is amazing for such a small unit. We can turn the volume up and the sound is still great, no distortion. we have other docking stations but they don't compare to the Bose sound. Spend a little more and get what you want!

The sound is amazing. No crackle when the volume is up all the way. Other site sell this for a lot less, so would look around. It does not have a radio but I don't miss it. Fits my iphone and my ipod. Simple set-up. Great product. Another bonus is that it is 110-240V so it works no matter where the military take me.
