DO NOT PURCHASE!!! December 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Scarlett Mom "Sheba" (Edgewood, WA)  See all my reviews >

I was going to give this toy to my daughter who loves horses and luckily I decided to assemble it before Christmas. I have a lot of experience assembling household items such as electronics, gym equipment, and toys and have never seen such shoddy materials. The parts do not even fit well and does not stay. The roof and base are made with durable plastic but the walls are CARDBOARD???!!!There are holes where you can install screws but it wasn't included. I would only give this toy to a child if I was a cruel person and wanted to show what a barn looks like after it was flattened by a tornado. DO NOT PURCHASE!

Worst toy ever October 27, 2009 Reviewer:  Dragon Family See all my reviews >

My child received this for her birthday, it's plastic and cardboard. The cardboard panels do not fit correctly into the plastic slots and if you you so much as sneeze, the entire thing comes crashing down. We considered gluing the whole thing together in an attempt to make it "playable" but needed to move so we gave it to the neighbor so she could try that for her kids.

Such a WASTE! January 3, 2009 Reviewer:  Kate's Mommy (Jacksonville, FL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I really wish I would have read the reviews on this product before wasting my time and money. It took me about an hour to put it together! First of all, the floor is cardboard and it was folded up like a three-part brochure, so when unfolded, it did not lay flat... so I decided to super glue it to the plastic-floor frame. Then the cardboard walls of the barn were made or cut too short, they did not fit into either the bottom slots along the sides of the floor or top slots of the roof. I finally got them in with some serious stretching, reshaping and frustration, and I managed to put the rest of the barn together. My daughter (2 yrs.) was very excited to get a horse and barn for Christmas, but she was only able to play with the horse in the barn for about twenty to thirty minutes, because it soon began to fall apart. The inside stall-gates came out first (very easily), then the swinging gates came off, and finally the roof popped up - coming off of the plastic posts. I tried to push it back down and couldn't get the walls realigned with the slots, and the roof wouldn't line up with the posts either. So it is now going out with the trash this coming Thursday. I'm so disappointed.

not durable!!!! Upsetting my 4 yo daughter and 30+ spouse January 3, 2009 Reviewer:  sha "sha" (Keizer, OR United States)  See all my reviews >

My daughter loves horses. She's 4. The barn was very cute and substantial in size for the breyer horses. Loved the extra jump fence. Cardboard sides and back don't fit well to plastic ceiling. Once assembled (which took three people pushing and pulling and directing), it was great and clearly something you DO NOT move. My daughter is very gentle with it and a careful player. Despite this, the doors and hinges continually fall off. Even the the jump fence doesn't stay together. It's meant to have an adjustable height, but not worth the constant frustration of parts coming off. I'd rather the jump was a solid piece of plastic (nonadjustable). Still a pretty barn but probably not worth the hassle and constant requests for help from my daughter to fix it.

Worthless Junk December 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of 4 "Liz" (Florida)  See all my reviews >

I bought this toy as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old and could not assemble it because it did not include the correct pieces. The cardboard backing was warped. Obviously, I would NOT recommend purchasing this for any child of any age.

Great toy December 24, 2008 Reviewer:  satisfied customer "Stephanie D" (Baltimore, MD USA)  See all my reviews >

Pros: Looks fantastic in your breyer ranch, the stalls can also fit three traditional models, or four classic models, good sizing

Cons: slightly flimsy, for experienced and CAREFUL collectors only, not for rough play

This is an awesome toy! It is very nice in my litttle toy ranch, but you MUST hold it from the bottom, and yes the walls are cardboard. But it is very hard cardboard also assembley is pretty easy. More for a 13 year old girl then a 5 year old boy looking for a durable toy barn. It even with stood my cat sleeping in it!
