My daughter is now 3 months old and still loves this seat. She naps in it during the day, plays with the toy bar and it sits in upright position. The seat will be great for when she starts eating cereal. I give this seat an A++++++.

There are only a few items we've found that really qualify as 'must have' items, and this is absolutely one of them - this is definitely one of the best shower gifts we got and is used all the time. The chair is sturdy, comfortable, a good large size (level with the seat of our couch) and most importantly, versatile. The basket underneath is huge and great for holding extra blankets, burp rags, and toys. By adjusting the small wire brackets on the bottom, you can stabilize the chair or allow it to rock.

The music is very pleasant and not tinny at all - best of all, no 'row row row your boat' or 'twinkle twinkle little star' or 'rock a bye baby' (you hear enough of those already, don't you?) - just pleasant, melodic 'quiet play' music. Someone at Bright Starts got smart - the music tracks do not repeat one track mindlessly but instead repeat all ten tracks on a loop. The white noise (also very pleasant - waves, wind, and rain) does repeat a single track repeatedly, which makes sense. Noise can be played and controlled independent of the vibration (and the chair can vibrate without music playing) and there is a volume control for soft and loud. The music has an automatic shut off - I'd guess 10 or 15 minutes. The vibration will go on much longer but also shuts off on its own.

The small toys that hang from the bar will not be very interesting to a small baby, but they are removable and you can replace them with other soft toys (we use colorful Taggie blocks), or stretch a car seat bar toy (like the Bright Starts frog toy) across. Or remove the bar entirely if baby gets overstimulated. The chair cover is removable and can be washed.

This seat has been so handy - we scoot it around the house with us and bring it to family get-togethers. The size and sturdiness may be a drawback if you really need something that can collapse for travel or storage, but we've found we use it so much that it doesn't get put away, and it fits easily into the cargo area of our SUV, so the benefits of the size and sturdiness outweigh the issue of portability.

I love this product. It's very useful and I love the neutral decor. The pros are that I again love the neutral decor, the height, the price, and the lovely storage! The cons are that it's seems a bit hard in the seat, but you can fix that with an extra blanket, and the other is that by the time that I got the package the box was torn to shreds!!! I was worried that some of the pieces were missing, but they weren't. Target or FEDEX needs to work on that. Overall, wonderful product and you can get a lot of use from it. Worth the $$ you won't be sorry.

I received this as a shower gift, and we have used it daily since we brought the baby home. It has several adjustable heights, so even a tiny one can snuggle up in here. The vibrations are very comforting for the baby. The volume doesn't go too loud for the music and nature sounds, but if the room is quiet, it's fine. Our little girl LOVES to bat at the hanging bears, and she has mastered grabbing toys with this. The only thing con I can think of is that the toy bar just sits in the holes, and it doesn't lock in at all. Luckily, she hasn't figured this out yet, but soon she can just grab the bar and pull the whole thing out. But I would get it again - she sleeps, she plays, and she just hangs out in here! (Oh, and great storage underneath!)

I purchased this for my first child. She is now 3 weeks old and we could not live without this chair! By far the best purchase made for her. The adjustable seat tilt makes it great for the baby as she grows. The chair is sturdy, music is soothing and the vibration is not clunky or noisy. The storage underneath is roomy and comes in very handy. The toy bar is easy to remove and fits below for easy storage. Definately worth the few extra dollars and I would recommend this to everyone.

I really do love this seat, it is very useful and I love that it is higher off the ground since I am so tall. The only issue I have is that it is is described as a bouncer, from looking at it I didn't think it was, and I was right. It rocks back and forth which is a great unknown feature or it can be stationary. I didn't want it because it was a bouncer I love other features, but I wanted other parents to know that if u r buying it for that purpose, u may want to look elsewhere

I bought this chair after seeing it at a client's house because I loved the idea of having the baby nice and high up. Now that our daughter is 5 months old, I have to say it is truly the best thing we purchased. We already had plenty from our first child, but only had the small papasan seat that sits on the floor. This allows my daughter to be at couch height, is handy for when we are eating at the table and want to be able to reach her and in general is just a great seat. Since she was born she has played, napped, and sat there perfectly contentedly. She has just figured out in the past week or two how to kick the bar off with her feet so that would be my only con, but even that doesn't detract from the overall value.

The tray underneath is also really handy!! It is currently holding a giant package of diapers, a package of wipes (the big size), a blanket, some toys and necessities such as nasal bulb, thermometer and extra pacifiers. Plenty of storage room and keeps everything in one location that is easy to get to.

We are SO happy with this chair. We recommend it to all of our friends!!

WOW! This chair is better than I ever imagined it would be!! The height is great. The basket is a big help with extra storage for diapers and wipes so I don't have to run up and down the stairs. The toy bar is cute-my 4 yr old loves the animals. Super easy to clean and put together! The different levels to recline are great-my 2 month old has reflux so having the different heights to adjust has been a big help. The colors are very nice. I like that it has the adjustable over shoulder/lap harness. My 4yr old almost flipped out of his chair when he was a baby because it only had the lap harness. I like that this chair has kick stands to stop it from moving if you don't want it too. With all that said-I am convinced the best thing about this chair is the little box that attaches to the sit. My baby boy (and the rest of the family) actually enjoy the music it plays, very soothing, and the vibration it provides is great! Now what makes this little box so great is that it is detachable-which means I can/have used it in his crib (at the foot of the bed) during bed time, the car sit for the music, and at my parents since they don't have anything like that. And a last little note...my 4yr old sat in it for a brief minute before I caught him, so not only is this chair wonderful in many ways, it is also pretty strong. I highly recommend this chair for anyone looking to buy a baby sit! You will love it from the minute you open the box!!

This is the baby seat I wanted and I'm so glad I got it! My baby is now 3 months old and has used it for sitting and napping since birth. I keep it in my bedroom mostly, so the storage area below is great for keeping a small stock of my baby's things...extra socks and shirts, blankets, burp cloths, etc. I highly recommend this product - infact, one of my bff's is pregnant right now and I've already told her to register for it!
