Not what I expected June 8, 2008 Reviewer:  mommy of boys "mom of 2" (fl)  See all my reviews >

I am new to cloth diapering, so I bought a diaper cover sampler. These are very thin (think bathing suit thin), with a huge airvent going around the back. I was also disappointed in the colors (they are duller than what is pictured), and for the fact that they weren't packaged together, and the dirty duds bag was just thrown in the box (not in a bag). Maybe Target sent me a previously returned one. I also didn't like the fold back laundry tabs...too scratchy for the skin.

I personally love the Swaddlebees covers (you will need to use prefolds with those as well, they aren't AIO diapers...but the PUL diaper covers). You just tuck the prefold into the flap on the swaddlebees and go, exactly like these. For the same price you can buy covers of better quality. They don't have cute prints, but they are made very well. They have the same features as these, but I find Swaddlebees to be softer, a little thicker, and the laundry tabs don't touch the skin.

we have this cover and we love it December 5, 2008 Reviewer:  sand m "Sand M" (North Carolina)  See all my reviews >

I've used several styles and brands of covers and this is one of my favorites. They are pricey, but they do the job well. I love the leg gussets on these because they do an excellent job at containing explosive newborn poohs. To allay any concerns if you've read other reviews mentioning the airvent in the back, I have yet to have it leak and my daughter is a very heavy wetter. The velcro has a tab to attach to for washing which is very nice. The fabric is pretty malleable compared to some other brands that are more rigid. I have been using this with the gerber flatfolds as an insert and have no complaints. I would recommend getting one or two with the patterns though if you're considering going with white for practicality's sake because they really are cheerful and for some silly reason they can put a smile on your face when you're completely dragging, sleep deprived and are diapering a screaming baby. It's the little things sometimes..

Not a great diapering product February 13, 2009 Reviewer:  L. Hayes Real Name See all my reviews >

We went through a lot of phases working out cloth diapering for our newborn son. These covers are junk. They leak CONSTANTLY, get damp with one diaper so you can't really use them as covers. I feel bad even reselling them so I'm just saving them for my daughter's baby dolls. There are a lot of really great cloth diapering products. I would really hate for someone to buy these and give up because they are trash.

My favorite diaper covers July 28, 2008 Reviewer:  Texas Mama See all my reviews >

I've tried about 6 different brands of diaper covers at this point, and the Bumkins are by far my favorite. Unlike others I have tried, the poop easily rinses of the leg gussets without staining. And the designs are so much fun.

Great Diaper Covers July 17, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom of 4 "Taylor Family 6" See all my reviews >

These are thin as the previous poster pointed out, but that is because they are only a diaper cover. This is not the all in one diaper it is just the cover. They are made to be used over a pre-fold, or cloth diaper. I have used them with inserts and with flushables also. You can fold a prefold and tuck it under the top flap and just velcro shut. There is no need for pins or snappis or you can put a prefold on the old fashioned way and snappi or pin then place the cover on top. Whatever your preference, these will work great. I have been using them for over 4 months with no problems. They dry so quick. And the dirty dudd bag is a must for the diaper bag. Well worth the money.

Awesome covers July 9, 2008 Reviewer:  JacksonsMom "Bianca S" (Westlake, OH)  See all my reviews >

I have been cloth diapering for some time now and used these covers for my newborn, now 6 months old. They were great from the beginning, never any leaks or blowout accidents. They are easy to wash and I hang dry to make them really last. They still look brand new. LOVE THEM!!! Remember... not all diapers/covers will fit every baby body type. It takes some time to find the right ones that work for your baby so don't give up and good for you using cloth! Way to go Target for getting on board with cloth!

So cute, and functional! May 30, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Mom "Jen" (Fuquay-Varina, NC, USA)  See all my reviews >

We've just switched to cloth, and the Bumkins covers are a lifesaver. Just toss this cover on top of a prefold - it's easy enough that grandparents and other caregivers will use them. We've had zero leaks using this cover during the day. I really like that they have zero fabric, so they dry in no time. The dirty duds bag makes it easy to cloth diaper on the go, too. Also, everyone that sees them compliments the Dr. Seuss patterns - too cute!
