My 4 week old would not stand to be in his regular swing so we upgraded to the Lil' Lamb swing and he loves it. Since he is so you he has a bit of trouble seeing the mobile so I laid a folded up blanket in the seat and he can now lay in the cradle and see the mobile and mirror and it's one of the only things that soothes him.

Our son loves to look in the mirror and watch the mobile. Its soft and puts him to sleep or calms him down. We dont use the tray as it's akward to put him in and out with that. Our first one we got as a gift was damaged and we had to order another one, but it was fine.

I love this swing! The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because of the speed. Even on the lowest setting it goes way too fast. My daughter is 3 mo old now and still sleeps in it every night. She loves looking at herself in the mirror and watching the mobile. I love that I can put it right next to my side of the bed and just roll over to check on her throughout the night & if she starts to fuss I can just push it with my hand to calm her back down. I would def. recommend this swing to anyone!

This is a wonderful swing!!! My son loves it....he is two months old now and loves looking up at the mobile. The only thing I had to improvise on was the head rest and the speed. My son was 6 lbs 4 oz at birth and was a pretty tiny bug...so the head rest didn't support his head...the the first few weeks I had to roll a blanket and place it around the inside of the head rest for more support...not a hard fix though. Also I am still having to drag a light weight blanket to slow the swing down due to it going too fast for my comfort...however it's nice to know that this swing will grow with him as he gets bigger and heavier. I would absolutely recommend this product ")

this is a great swing! I love it! The only bad thing about it is that the music and mobile doesn't last as long as the swinging does. My son loves the mobile and music and when it stops he has a little more trouble going to sleep. I wish they would make these swings where you can plug them in. Overall, I would recommend buying this swing!

This swing has allowed my 6 month old take his naps without interruption since his birth. I love it! My older son had a different kind of swing when born and he hate dit. This pappasan allows the baby to sit or lay comfortably, and the different sounds make every nap sweet dreams! The only con I find is that it waists a lot of batteries, so if you buy it, opt for two sets of rechargeables.

I have had this swing for 4 mths now and love it. It was the only thing that kept my baby happy the first 3 mths now he's a little more interested at what's going on around him but still likes taking naps in it. I have only changed the batteries in it twice and he used it a lot just buy duracell or energizer and they will last very long. Also make sure to seperate the legs enough or it will swing from side to side when on. I read reviews that complained about that. I do wish it had the option of being plugged in don't know why Fisher Price does it with similiar swings and not with this one, other than that I have no complaints my baby loves it and that's all that matters.

CONS: too fast a swinging motion when they're smaller. As baby gets older you have to keep turning the dial up notches so the motor can keep up with the weight it's moving. So far as I know there's only 2 reclining positions, laid back or way the heck forward. pricey. can't plug the thing in. (why IS that I wonder, it makes more sense) Hit baby's head on the fraqing mobile everytime you go to put the baby in the swing. gets annoying.
PROS: my son loves it. 3.5 months old and we've two in the house, one for upstairs and one for down, I don't look forward to him outgrowing it and having to transisiton to the crib full time. It's soft, washable, ticking noise with the swing helps sooth baby, nighttime crickets help baby sleep (and us for that matter)Life saver on many many occasions.

I spent a lot of money on this swing and after using it for two months the swing barely works at all. I have replaced the batteries several times thinking this was the problem and it was not. Something is wrong with the motor. Now I am going to have to go out and purchase a new swing.

I fell in love with this the first time I saw it. Luckily my friend got it for me for my babyshower. I set it up checked it out and it worked great! But once my baby came and I started to use it, all these problems arose. The swing rocks... like the WHOLE swing! And it has a ticking noise.. which I was warned about by somone else that has a papsan swing but I figured it would be fine. Which it was, my baby didn't even notice it. But after about 5 total hours of use the music started sounding warped. And then the music stopped all together! And then the mobile stopped! And now all my baby can do is swing in a super expensive cute swing... I called Mattell and they are sending me a replacment motor but it sucks to spend all this money on this swing and have to do that. I would just buy a regular swing. My baby has one at her grandmas and loves it just as much. That one is very cheap, and it takes up less space and no where near as noisey as this one!
