I recieved this swing as a gift at my baby shower. My daughter absolutely loved it. I'm a single mom so sometimes finding a way to do things while she was awake was difficult. I could just put her in the swing and turn the lights on and then I could get done what I needed to. I put her in it til she was probably 6 months old and she still loved it. It always worked great for me. The option to plug it in the wall is wonderful. I would suggest this swing to anyone. It was one of the greatest baby gifts I recieved.

I was so excited to get this for my baby girl! She is now 2 months old, and I hate this swing. It is LOUD, it swings kinda fast, the lights and moving butterflies decide when it wants to work. I have to keep turning it on and off, and pray that it works.

Pass this one up..it's a huge waste of money! It's only going to add gray hair to your head trying to get it to work.

I spent a lot of money on this swing and after using it for two months the swing barely works at all. I have replaced the batteries several times thinking this was the problem and it was not. Something is wrong with the motor. Many times I read reviews on products and realize the problem is not the product, it is "operator error" (as my husband likes to call it.) With this swing it is not, it is just a poorly made product!! Now I am going to have to go out and purchase a new swing.... I would not buy this swing again!!

As everyone has said the motor on this swing is questionable. It sometimes will not swing at all and you have to keep reseting it but it has been getting worse since the beginning. My daughter (at 7 weeks) LOVES to recline and watch the mobile but when she is facing forward I sit in front of her to talk and play with her and when I do that I push the swing myself instead of use the motor. The mobile and light globe stops after about 5 minutes also. This is the only 'baby furniture' my husband and I have besides her bassinet so it gets a good amount of use and in that scenario it was worth the money for us.

the swing is beatiful, and while it worked it was awesome, but when my baby was about a month old the motor burned out and wont swing at all anymore, im glad it was a gift beacuse if i spent [this much] on a swing that only worked for a month i would be way more [angry] about this...

We have all loved this swing since we got it. It is very soft, cute, functional and comfortable for baby. Lots of different features like cradle swinging and front-to-back swinging, different music and nature sounds, plus the cute projections. It was a few months until my niece who was visiting figured out and showed us how to recline it though. It was kinda difficult. We use it in plug-in mode, a major reason for buying the swing. However, after about 2 months, it barely moves at all. Pretty pricey for a swing that doesn't last long. Also, the music, as cute as it is, REALLY sounds like baby funeral music (if there is such a thing) and is a little creepy. That's just my opinion. I guess it's because of the organ in combination with the other musical instruments used to create the songs.

Depending on her mood my baby girl loves this swing. I only rate it as a 4 because it seems like the motor does not work as well as it could. However it has been a lifesavor, because she is a fussy baby who never wants to be put down, and I would recommend spending the $ on it.

After researching several infant swings, I found this one to be the BEST buy! It has so many great features - the reclining seat, rotating mobile and light show, and multiple settings for swing speed, volume, and music choice. Another benefit is that the swing is neutral. I originally thought it was light blue, but it is actually a purple-blue color so it can be used for a boy or girl. I would definitely recommend this item for other parents.

My daughter loves this swing--when it swings. We've had it about four months now, and run it maybe 2-3 hours per day. The problem is that the motor only seems to last about 2 months. The first time, it stopped swinging but the music played. So I changed the batteries, but that didn't help. I called Fisher Price and they sent a new motor without any questions. It took a week to get it but I was pleased. Now, two months later, the motor is running inconsistently. I will have to call FP again and have it replaced. And we'll be another week without a swing. This product was too expensive to have this kind of hassle so I cannot recommend it.

I received this swing for my newborn about 7 mths ago. Since we have had it the motor keeps burning out. The motor will not last. The music doesnt play and if I do get it to work it skips. The animals do not rotate and I have been through $200.00 worth of batteries trying to keep the swing going. I have contacted Fisher Price and they have sent me two more motor mechanisms that have failed also. This has been a ongoing process for 6 months. Fisher price has been very unhelpful and slow in getting me what I need and when I do receive the new motors they still do not work. I STILL DO NOT HAVE A WORKING SWING.
