The "peacock" colored settee is not blue! It's definitely a spruce green/ peacock green color. It looks a lot different in person than online. The fabric is velvet. It's a great smaller settee, but it was challanging to assemble. It took me about an hour to put together. It's adorable though and I really like it. Just don't have your heart on blue because you will be disappointed. It's a green loveseat size settee. Good item for the price, but won't be something you keep forever. The quality just isn't that high.

Here is the email I wrote to Target about this couch:
I ordered a couch online from Target. It was shipped to me in March 2008. The couch slowly deteriorated and the base snapped. I had to send a swatch of fabric to the furniture company in September 2008 to receive a new couch. When I finally received my new couch, it too began slowly deteriorating until, in February, the slope on the bench was so severe that it too was unusable. They shipped me another couch, in a different color (not by my request), and now about a month later, I can see that it is going to break too. It is already lumpy, creaky, and starting to slope. My couch has been broken and unusable almost the whole time I have owned it. Is there something that Target can do about this? I obviously do not want a replacement couch.
**** Target said there was nothing they could do and "helpfully" suggested that I contact the manufacturer to get a new part. After two returns (of a couch!) and MONTHS spent trying to get this problem fixed, I decided not to bother.

I've seen this chaise on a few websites and I still cannot bring myself to buy it because of the comments about its color. Is it the "carribean" color that urban outfitters seems to claim it is? (It looks blue in the pictures there) Or is it the color in the closeup picture on csnstores (google "skyline settee in velvet lagoon")? Advance thanks to anyone who sheds more light on its color!
