I used to play this game as a kid back in the early 70's and I used to love it. We would "call" our games as the ball rolled around and we'd "shoot" the ball with the flippers. "It's Dr. J. down the lane". "Kareem Jabbar for two!". "John Havlicek from the middle". Something recently reminded me of this game, so I figured I'd find it somewhere online. Lo and behold there it was so I got it for me and my 8-year old son to play. Of course now it's "LeBron James for 3!", and "Dwayne Wade pulls up from the free throw line!". Even though my son is of the Playstation generation, he still enjoyed the game (as well as his friends). I think they like the chance to use their imagination (what a concept, huh? :-) instead of seeing every image laid out for them. Great toy!

50 years ago, as a kid, I played Cadaco's Bas-ket and loved it. This reproduction is a joke. It's impossible to make shots from the free throw line; the ball either hits the bottom of the front rim or flies over the backboard. Cadaco told me that I need to be patient, that eventually the springs will loosen up. That might happen, in maybe a year. Don't waste your money. If you have memories of this game and enjoyed it, get an old copy, from back when this company still had the integrity to produce a product that worked.
