I used Johnsons products on my newborn and her skin got very dry and she developed cradle cap. I switched to California Baby and her dry skin and cradle cap cleared up after 2 baths! California Baby doesn't contain Sodium Laurel Sulfate, a dangerous skin irritant. The lotions and sunscreen are great, too! I recommend this to EVERY parent!

This wash is great for those moms (like myself) who are concerned about the harmful ingredients in a lot of baby products. It smells amazing, washing clean, and helps soothe my baby's skin. It doesn't lather up as much as regular babywash, but it's because it lacks the (not good for you) chemical that creates all that foam. My baby always sleeps great after her bath with this wash. When our first baby was born, I searched extensively for bath products that would be safe for her, long term. I have been very happy with all California Baby products; we use this shampoo/bodywash every day, the tea tree and lavendar for problem skin, and enjoy the sunblocks in the summer. My daughter also had one spot of excema when she was 2 and a daily dose of CA Baby Calendula cream got rid of it in less than one week. We have 3 daughters ages 5, 2, and 7 months, and have effectively avoided bladder infections and urinary tract infections that their friends (unfortunately) get with commercial bath soaps and bubble baths.

This baby shampoo and bodywash is fantastic! My daughter developed eczema on her cheeks when she was a couple of months old. I started using only this product and the Calendula Cream and it cleared up right away. I added the Calming Hair Conditioner once she got a little older. She is 17 months old now and I bathe her every day. Her skin is never dry and her hair is so shiny! A cap full of Burt's Bees Apricot Oil in the tub is nice too!

I highly rec'md all of their bath products...they are wonderful!!! I use this for my 4.5 year old daughter,and my 10 month old son!!

I give it 4 stars for the fact that it's all natural and smells pretty good. I agree with one of the reviewer that after shampoo my daughter's hair with this, her hair got so dry and difficult to comb. It's nice to use as a face wash for myself though. But then, if you spend the money (which is 3 times more than common brands like Aveeno and J&J, and 2X as Burts Bee), you will expect it to be perfect, right?

I love the fact that this shampoo/body wash is free of harmful chemicals, but with that said, it is just OK on my daughter's hair. It makes her normally soft hair more like straw and so tangled you can hardly comb it. I do use it more regularly as a body wash and on my infant son's baby fine hair.
