Beautiful Crib! February 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Lisa087 (Brooklyn, NY)  See all my reviews >

We just ordered this crib after seeing the cherry version in the store and are very pleased with our decision. The crib is well built, sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble. The black finish was something we were a little iffy on at first but it's gorgeous in person! We love the fact that it converts into a toddler bed. I would highly recommend this item!

Beautiful Crib - Very Pleased! February 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Katherine Cohen (Mississippi)  See all my reviews >

My husband and I purchased this crib for our 3rd one on the way for different reasons but both of us are very pleased. I wanted it because I love the style and look of it and he wanted it because it converts from a crib to a full size bed so we can use it for several years to come...for once we agreed on something :).

We were both very impressed with how easy it was to assemble and the finish is absolutely beautiful! The crib itself is built very well and seems like it will last.

Truly BEAUTIFUL and WELL CONSTRUCTED crib April 19, 2009 Reviewer:  J. Trice Real Name (LA, CA)  See all my reviews >

This is a masterpiece of design and construction. The wood is beautiful and is not that soft pine wood (e.g., Da Vinci cribs) that dents easily. No, this is just the perfect combination of great materials, thoughtful design, and solid construction.

It took about 1 hour to put together (I recommend not tightening the top screws to final position until you put the curved wood pieces on each side of the crib), and the instructions were perfectly clear.

I would recommend this to anyone who wants a crib that they can show off to their friend, but are comfortable not paying more for less.

Do not hesitate. If you need a crib, this is the one!

STURDY...but DINGS EASILY!!! February 28, 2009 Reviewer:  happy mom (bay area, ca)  See all my reviews >

I recieved this crib as a baby shower gift...I LOVE THIS CRIB!!! it is VERY easy to put together...very light to move, and VERY VERY VERY STURDY at the same time...my son is now 18 months and he jumps in the crib, leans on the sides and front and i am never worried that a side will fall off...the hardest part is changing the height of the mattress...other than that its simple...my adivce is as long as the baby doenst stand in the crib and is unable to pull him or herself up then the height of the mattress shouldnt be an issue...but as soon as the baby can stand or pull him or herself up then just put the mattress on the lowest setting...as far as the wood quality goes, it dents very easily. i had a mobil and a fisher price water sounds hooked up to the crib (only able to hook up on the left or right side) and when i took them off there were dents in the wood...also it came with a couple dents...other than that its a gret crib for the price!!!

Beautiful Crib!! February 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Mommy of Two "Sydney S" (Tennessee)  See all my reviews >

I was wanting the Simplicity Ellis crib & I believe this is the one that replaced it since Simplicity seemed to have gone out of business. This crib is absolutely beautiful & the cherry color is gorgeous. The crib wasn't hard to put together at all & is made with a very thick & heavy wood. We also bought the matching dresser that is also beautiful, sturdy, & a great size! You cant beat the price & quality of this crib!!

Great Crib! April 11, 2009 Reviewer:  SuperMommy (North Carolina)  See all my reviews >

This is a fantastic crib. It is large and stately and looks beautiful in the nursery. The wood grain and color is beautiful-but be aware that it is a very deep red cherry, not the typical 'washed out' color other products display. This crib is solid wood and does NOT have a drop side. While it does come with the side supports for a toddler bed, you will need to buy the side rails to convert it to a full size bed. The number for purchase is provided in the instructions.

Matching pieces? February 17, 2009 Reviewer:  New mom (Algonquin, IL)  See all my reviews >

I would really love to purchase this crib but notice there are not any matching pieces in Espresso by this maker, such as a changing table or dresser, anyone know of any or have any ideas that match this Espresso color?

Gorgeous Crib February 28, 2009 Reviewer:  MommyofTwo (Florida)  See all my reviews >

We purchased this crib for our second child. Upon opening the box, there was a manufacturer's defect that had almost sliced one leg in half. I called the company and they shipped me a new leg. Great customer service and easy to deal with!

RE: Need Help April 6, 2009 Reviewer:  SCL See all my reviews >

This is a beautiful crib that fits a standard size mattress. A mobile will attach but ours had to hang a little off center because the rails are thick. Having said that, some of the bumper ties had to be knotted because the 4 outer posts are really thick too. It also comes with the conversion kit with toddler rails. For the money it is a really nice quality crib.
