I bought this about 6 months ago to allow my kids to still have toys in the living room, but to be able to put them away when the kids go to bed. It holds A LOT, I was surprised. It is also VERY durable, my 3 year old climbs on it, in it, jumps off of it.
I also bought a tray table that fits perfectly on the top, so it doubles as a coffee table.

We have this trunk in our family room to store toys. It has tons of space and looks good on hardwood floors.

I had been searching for something nicer than those typically ugly litterboxes for my cats, esp. since I live in an apartment. I happened to find one of these trunks at Target...on clearance, no less! After I borrowed a friend's bansaw to cut a hole in one end, my newly purposed litter-trunk works GREAT! It's sturdy, has enough 'breathability' to make things livable for me *and* my cats, and is easy to access and clean. Really a nice item!

Toys in the living room were inevitable and my husband and I were searching for the perfect storage for these toys that would fit in our living room that is mostly brown/black furniture and coffee sofas. It is very durable, I was afraid it looked like it could easily cave in if pressure was put on it but I have a 3 year old boy that has sat on top stood up on the lid and it has held strong. It does not a safety stop so extra care is needed to make sure children do not smash their fingers. overall it is great.

I bought this trunk today IN MY LOCAL STORE. Very happy with my purchase. The wicker is in great shape and doesn't appear to chip/splinter as easily as some wickers. Using it as an ottoman/blanket holder in my living room. Very sturdy and can hold alot.

We got this instore over the weekend (8/8/09). The trunk looks better in real life than it does on the picture. Anyways, it's a beautiful piece and looks very similar to the ones sold in [..]. It's sturdy and nicely constructed. We use it as a coffee table and a storage for our Wii fit and guitar hero. We LOVE IT!!!

Purchased the trunk in lieu of a coffee table, great idea, if I do say so myself. It stores all my throws and sofa pillows, set a couple of small decorative trays or 1 large tray on top to serve as a hard top to set tea or vase of flowers on top. Just pull out a few of your stored sofa pillows or add a cushion to use as an ottoman. It's beautiful and sturdy, perfect fit.
