Yikes!!

I'll be honest..the main reasons I bought these are the look and price. I am not a Chef by any means but I do enjoy cooking, so I donated my old pots and pans and got ready to cook up a storm. When they arrived, I noticed how thin they were, but they were very pretty! Haha! I should have known..
The frying pan is awful. Just awful. I am an excellent Grilled-Cheese-Maker if I may say so myself. The frying pan was ruined within the first use. Non-stick it is not! The bottom of the pan got burnt and discolored (and I was using less than medium heat). So after that experience, I had to buy yet another frying pan. So essentially, I ended up spending [..] for a cookware set when I could have gotten a much better set for the same price.
Seeing as how they are pretty, which as you can tell is an important factor for me (Ha!), I have given this two stars..one because I am nice and one because they are pretty...but that's it!
Hope this review helps, I never write these.

Old ones were much better

We just replaced our old set but I kept the box and receipt just in case. I dont trust them. They appear VERY CHEAP! I mean think thin and flimsy. IDK I am still keeping my old set which we lost a pan to during a move hence the idea of a new set. Plus one of the pots got stained when making beans since they are quite old. But yes older ones they made were awesome but over time will stain and corrode near where the pot and handle are put together. So if I were you get the TFAL set I think when I return these. (Yes I know they wont suit my needs so I will give them one chances and most likely return them due to poor quality.)

Save your money

I was very disappointed in this set of pans. I am a retired chef, I know how pans are supposed to be. You can't cook in these pans with the heat higher than medium! The bottoms warp! You can't saute anything on medium! Save your money, buy something else.

Good deal!

I've been using this set for several years and have not had any problems. I love the glass lids for seeing the contents cook and the vent is great to help prevent boiling up over the pan. I use potholders on my cast iron skillets so don't think of it as a problem to use them on these handles. Just recently bought a second set to give to my son to use in his apartment.

Don't bother

Reviewer:  Alley  (San Francisco, CA)  See all my reviews

I got this in the store, and I still haven't been able to use it. The problem is that the label was glued on with some kind of ridiculous adhesive that I still can't remove. I don't know why they covered the entire cooking surface with a glue I've spent hours attempting to remove (with very little success). I'm really disappointed in this product.

Use caution - hot handles

Reviewer:  June  (Troy, MI United States)  See all my reviews

My daughter purchased this cookware, and burned her hand when taking the pot from the stove. The handles seem to conduct the heat from the burner. Be careful and use a pot handle holder when removing the pot from the burner. The manufacturer needs to redesign the handle material.

great deal for the price

We've had these for about 5 yrs now and use them every day. they are not gourmet but they have held up very well to everyday use and are still going strong. the hollow handles also make them nice and light. only one of our covers broke but i suppose that is expected with glass covers.
