I bought this cast iron frying pan for cooking meats and its worked out great. It is very easy to keep clean, all you have to do is dab the bottom with paper towls after using it. Like all cast irons, I would not suggest washing it because you want to build up the grease on the bottom for better cooking. I haven't used it for anything but meat but so far all my beef and lamb dishes have tasted great! I would suggest using cast iron so that you aren't consuming teflon, instead you will add much needed iron in your diet. This pan is a great quality and will be an added frying pan to my kitchen for years to come.

Only skillet I've used since it arrived. Seasoned it per instructions. Clean up quick and easy, hot water, dab of detergent, wipe thoroughly,rinse and dry, then use paper towel to reapply small amout of oil. Nothing sticks. Works great....Love it. Wish I had purchased it a long time ago.
