I didn't have any problems whatsoever with this cabinet. It ably serves my needs. I have two shelf units from the line, a double and a triple, and found them easy to assemble and perfectly functional. For the price, you can't beat them. I had no issues with the color of the veneer. It's reddish. Is it an exact match to a true cherry wood stain? Probably not. But then, if you're really in the market for high quality hardwood furniture ... you probably shouldn't be shopping in the veneer-covered particle board section of the store. For the price this is a perfectly functional and satisfactory unit. If you're looking for a stunning piece of hand-crafted furniture, though, you're not going to find it at this price point. It works great and is pretty enough for me!

I am very surprised the wall unit was delivered undamaged, but to my total surprise it is to different colors, the back panel is the cherry finish as it should be and the rest of the unit is a ugly orangish-red finish. "oh and get this",the solid wood part of the discription is ground-up solid wood pressed together with glue, i do believe that is called PARTICALBOARD!!!!!!!!. i will NEVER buy any piece of furniture online and i suggest you dont either!
