The buffet is a really nice color, a deep chocolate brown as described. It is a bit on the small side as far as what I think of as a normal size for a dining room buffet. Consider carefully the dimensions and your room size and placement so you're not disappointed when it arrives. Since I plan on using it as a makeup table in the bedroom, I think the size is good and provides extra needed storage. It was pretty easy to put together. However, I am fairly disappointed with the quality. The front doors came already attached, and they are not nearly even! Since the doors aren't even, the knobs on the doors are totally skewed, and it looks really silly, like cheap furniture. This is going to bother me a lot. I don't see any easy way to fix it because if I went to the trouble of removing the hinges and drilling new holes, they would probably be too close to the old holes. Also, there are several places where the wood is really roughed up and splintered along the edges. I guess this is what I get from furniture I have to assemble myself. Overall, an okay purchase for the time being, though I would hesitate to buy other pieces like this for fear of the same problems. Next time I'd probably spend just a little more and get a higher quality piece. It's not always worth it to penny pinch--you get what you pay for.

What a goodlooking furniture! The color is so vivid, if you do not find the knobs to be that attractive,can always buy new ones, but the furniture itself is a great piece, did not find the problem the other review expressed.I just wish they had a matching tv stand or a collection.

I purchased this buffet for my dining room because it's on the small side and I didn't want a giant piece of furniture overwhelming my dining room. What a great find. It was so easy to assemble (it only took about an hour)and it's sturdy and attractive. There's not one thing about this buffet I dislike. I recommend it for anyone looking for a great piece at a great price. Another Target gem!

I ordered this buffet for extra storage in my family room. The color is exactly as described and pictured. The piece came packed very well and was easy to assemble. The hardware for each step is packaged individually and the instructions were very clear. I put it together myself in under an hour. Everyone who has see the piece can't believe how much I paid (plus I got 15% off and free shipping!).

Overall very happy with product. Easy to put together. A few rough spots on finish on sides, nothing worth returning for, however. Color pretty and consistent-we bought two, but no two are EXACTLY stained the same. If you don't like the hardware, it's easy to change as well. True to the picture.

Item came within a few days of ordering.I laid everything out according to directions and it assembled within 30 mins!Only problem we had was the left side of the interior shelf doesn't sit flush with the front piece.It is only noticeable with doors open and you would have to know what to look for.The interior is sturdy and holds alot of items.The color is a very dark espresso which is what I needed.We are very pleased as always with Target items!

This is almost perfect. It matches our dining table, blends with our living room furniture and it has the right amount of storage. It's made really well too especially for the price. It's a bit on the small side and it would have been perfect if it was about 8 inches wider.

We looked and looked for a TV stand for our new flat panel 32" TV, but good not find anything with the right depth. Everything was 20" and up and we just needed something thinner than that that looked like a piece of pretty furniture, NOT something that looks like it was made for a TV. I found what I wanted in this buffet. It goes perfectly with the Dolce Dark Walnut coffee tables and looks great in our living room, taking up hardly any space. We don't have many components to go in the bottom, just a DVD player and playstation 2, but it could handle a couple of more components without space for any movies. We drilled a hole in the back for our cords to go out.
Love it!!!

I absolutely LOVE this buffet table. It's just the right size for my breakfast nook and it matches perfectly with my "Ashley" table and chairs. I received it within a few days and was able to assemble it by myself, and it only took me about an hour. I highly recommend this piece of furniture.
