I love love love these boots. I bought them online from Target last year (2008) and every time I wear them (which is any time I get half a chance) I get compliments (often from complete strangers).

They ran small last year (ordered size 7 instead of 8/8.5 which is my usual) and that was perfect. Plenty of room for big winter socks and tucking in your boot cut pants/jeans.

The one thing I'd hope Target could improve on is the liner on the inside sole of the boot. It slipped right off on both shoes for me. I replaced them with clear gel liners from Walgreens that glue right into the boot and that's an ok solution. Would have preferred that they didn't come apart so easily. The outside of the boot has worn well, though.

These boots are so cute. BUT the wait was so long!
Ordered on April 8 got them May 16. Hopefully we will
have a few more rain days so she can wear them this year.
Order a size smaller than you normally wear they run a
size larger.

These are a great buy. The are both fashionable and functional. They do run a little big (normally I wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 9 is roomy), but that's ok for a rainboot. I have worn these several times this spring, both for walking to and from work and playing in the muddy yard with my son, and I am very happy with my purchase!

These boots are darling! I'm usually a 7.5 but like many others purchased a 7 and there's still room for nice fuzzy socks in there to keep your tootsies toasty. There's also plently of room at the top to tuck your jeans in so they don't drag through the water puddles. I've worn mine a handful of times, gotten tons of compliments and loved the way these boots have performed so far!

The colors are bright and the shoe appears to be made well, but these boots were HUGE! I wear a 9 and I ordered a 9 but my dad who wears a men's 10 could fit into these boots. I had to return them and next time I'll order a 7.

I love these boots, and I get so many comments on them! I didn't have a problem w/shipping at all, but I ordered them off season in February I think. I ordered the size 6's 1st because people recommended going to a smaller size, and ONE boot was waaay too small for my size 6.5/7 feet, the other just fine. So I returned them at a store & ordered the 7's online and they fit just perfectly. I personally would recommend rounding up sizes, b/c then you can wear thick socks with them in the winter when it's not cold enough for snow boots. People comment on them more in the winter when it's dreary, it's fun to see such sunny colors!

I ordered these rain boots some time last year, and when they FINALLY arrived, they where too small.:( I got them a size smaller like a lot of the other reviews said, but they where too small for me! Yes, they are SUPER cute and pretty sturdy, but I had to order my normal size when I bought then again.

I wear a 7!

I agree with everyone else- they do run a little big. I am normally an 8-8.5 and I ordered an 8 and they are huge. Heavier socks may help a bit, but don't rely just on that. Otherwise, they are super cute and a fun addition to a shoe wardrobe!!

I too was lulled into complacency by the appealing citrus-y shell, so thin and tangy.

But after only a year and a half, I discovered how thin the appeal really was--the thin inner-sole was matted down with sweat and truly disgusting, the heel and toes sported terrible rips that let every puddle into my sock!

Don't buy these overrated and undertested boots. They will leak on you. Not worth the price by half!
