Great Inexpensive Furniture

I ordered a 5-drawer dresser, a 6-drawer dresser, a headboard, and two night stands. I won't say assembly is a breeze, but if you've ever put pre-fab furniture together before it's not difficult. The furniture looks really good when put together. I was surprised to find that it looks better than it does online (as opposed to the usual). It looks great and performs exactly as you would expect it to for the price. This is great furniture for anyone with a tight budget. Important to note though...the 6-drawer dresser, and only the 6-drawer dresser, came with a touch-up pen that perfectly matched the finish and magically covered up any and all minor scuffs and scrapes that you would expect to see. If you intend to order this furniture with out the 6-drawer dresser I would highly recommend contacting the manufacturer (South Shore Furniture) to get the matching Cherry touch up pen.

The headboard is beautiful!! It is a dark cherry and looks quite a bit more expensive than it costs, even when shipping is included. It looks better with a queen than a full size - I had both to try it on. Mine did not come with instructions, so it was a bit difficult to figure out even though my husband and I are experienced in putting together furniture. Also the bolts needed to attach it to the bed frame are not included - you need four 2" bolts with nuts and washers.

I love how this headboard looks completed. It wasn't too difficult to put together, however I did find that the pre-scored holes did not allow enough room to piece together the arms of the headboard and the larger piece so I had to do some free handed piecing for that. However it looks great, is sturdy and was a decent price!

This headboard was fairly easy to assemble. Is attractive looking for the price. However the only drawback is that because it is made from composite materials it is very heavy and the cost of shipping and handling is quite high.

The item arrived with 4-5 very noticeable dings in the finished area of the headboard. I was very disappointed. But I did not argue the point as I did not feel like going round-and -round with the store / shipping company looking for blame. I will buy some paint or marker and lessen the visibility.

I am very happy with my purchase. The photo does not do justice to the rich color. It really deserves more like 4 & 1/2 stars. As others have stated you will need to purchase the nuts and bolts to attach the headboard to your bed frame (why I took away 1/2 a star). Other than that, I love it! It also appears it would work out better for a queen bed. It's a little big for my full size bed, but is just fine for the spare bedroom. Once you put the bed together and the comforter on, you hardly notice. I definitely recommend for the price. I only wish Target had actually put it on sale; I watched for months and it was never marked down.
